I would to get some opinion on those people who usually travel to Singapore to work. I want to plan ahead if I get offered a position in Singapore. My wife is working in Johor side, so I will need to commute daily to work there. Plan to carpool and drive thru Secondlink. I notice the jam at Causway is just too terrible. Can spend up to to 2 hours more in the jam. Thus thinking of a way to avoid this - hopefully Secondlink has the miracle!

Agree totally with the article link above. The house rent in singapore is increasing a lot. My group of friends just decided to rent a 3 bedroom HDB costing S$1,800 a month excluding the bills. That's just too much I think for a small and medium sized apartment

Hi.. is there any claims for travelling n accomodation fees if we are asked to attend interview in SG? Or makan sendiri?

No, don't think so. Unless you are in a high ranking managerial position, then you'll probably receive these treatment. But then again, it depends on the company - no harm asking them if you are called up for interview. It's not that expensive to travel to Singapore. Show some commitment in your job hunting

Ya.. I oso want to know why.. Does anyone knows why most of the jobs are restricted only to Singaporeans and SPR only ah?

If they scare Singaporeans could not find jobs, they should at least put "Priority for Singaporeans and SPR but Malaysians are welcomed"...

Damn silly la.. employers put this kind of restrictions.. No wonder i still could not warrant a face to face interview after submitting 20 applications.. SAD..

Normal la every country want to protect their own citizen. Even if they want to recruit foreigner, it should go to the position that own people not able to fill up.
