i have to work at singapore since Jun 2006...The salary $1500 no experian at all..but so far can Survive i can save $800 to $900 per month...as long as u can manage ur money very well its ok u dun worry...
so far in my work place i dun hv any problem..everyone work together malay+indian+chinese..we all like family no racism...some more my bestfriend are chinese we all weekend play badminton 2gether..
I`m malaysian and fresh grad from PTPL ampang...Diploma In Information Technology..i`m malay..

I have a friend whose interested to work in Singapore...My friend wanna work as cabin crew for Singapore Airline.
She wants to know hows life would be if she migrate to Singapore...what she'll need...eg..uhh..like passport or whatever.
My friend is 20 years old.
So,what do you think about that?

If your offer is around SGD2500 to SGD3000, u better think thrice. Plus the food here is around same price as Malaysia.

I am a fresh grad from mass communication. i studied in a local varsity. i was hoping to get a job in sg too. for d past few weeks, i've sent out quite a number of cv to companies located in sg. i was just wondering, is it really hard to get a job there? and, are there other source to hunt for job besides jobstreet n jobsdb? your reply would kindly be appreciated! tanks.

I dun think the average rental of a common room is 550 that high yet.
Almost all of my friends able to get a common room between 300-400 only. I have 1 friends even get a masterroom(aircond) with 550 only.  Other master bedroom price i know is around 600-650.
There is a lot of owner asking high rental but there is a lot asking reasonable price as well.

How about the security there? I bet it is so much safer than Malaysia! Like in malaysia, girls get wistled at.... then you have perverts lah... and people lepaking at central markets, sogo and etc (mostly not Msian)... I heard the Singaporeans dont act like Msians do... they dont look at girls one kind (in a pervert way)... Haha!

That being said, i guess depends on which location.
i heard like Jurong, industrial area, also a lot of "cases"
I guess, generally safer than Malaysia lar, but definitely noy 100% or even 95% safe.
