Actually the main question that you should ask is how long you intend to work there?

Norm most ppl whom work in s'pore will have not opportunity to comeback  due to wage differences and exp.

Lots of my friend whom join as production engineer having this dilemma now.

Ya lol high salary better life n the most important thing is enjoy Working Environment..for what we come back to malaysia who dare to pay that much rite than as long as u really can make money here what for u want to go back..

d2e_7, I eat up S$3 worth of lunch every day on average at the normal kopitiams and canteens where I work. Compared to your S$1.90 on-average lunch, I spend only an extra of S$33 for the whole month. That's not really a big savings. Maybe you should look elsewhere to cut living expenses... one big target is your calls (back home?) to M'sia. Use more of Skype or MSN chat that's free...
*
hey cjtune thanks...
yup i think i should not call m`sia everyday lar...
maybe i will use msn or ym or what ever free ones...
normaly i seldom eat dinner i only eat lunch that all..
my weight only 44...

Hi people!

I have a friend whose interested to work in Singapore...My friend wanna work as cabin crew for Singapore Airline.sweat.gif sweat.gif
She wants to know hows life would be if she migrate to Singapore...what she'll need...eg..uhh..like passport or whatever.
My friend is 20 years old.
So,what do you think about that? sweat.gif
*
If u want to get a PR u must at least work in Singapore 1 year and have to contribute wit CPF... also they want to see your SPM result (5 credit )... And depends on what skill u have they prefer technical skill or professional skill (accountant, engineering, IT )
And the last thing is depends on luck... thumbup.gif

good luck to ur friend... icon_rolleyes.gif

I know of people getting PRs within a few months. About 3 months fastest -given the processing time is already 2 months... For me I took my time and still got it after 8 months (I applied on the 6th month I was there).

Not sure if that 1 year minimum working period applies to all working visa types. Is it stipulated by MOM officially? Even if not, I'll bet those with Employment Passes might be more favoured compared to the more common Working Pass or S-Passes.
*
i will apply next year..but 1 we hv to change work permit to S passes first than hv to wait is about 1 month than thay will deside ur form success or not..if can than u will countinue to apply PR if not...cannot leh..
what to do...
