Guys how do I apply for employment pass if I do not have an official certificate from my University? I will not have it until August but I already got an offer from a Singapore company and I would like to start working as soon as possible.

QUOTE(seantang @ Jun 13 2008, 05:24 PM) That's a course completion letter. It should be on the university's letterhead, with the stamp of a relevant dept eg. the vice chancellor's office or student affairs dept or your faculty dean or admin office etc. and state specifically the name of the degree under which faculty, that you have completed all requirements for the said degree, the date of completion and of course sufficient personal details to identify you to anybody relying on the letter. I got the course completion letter and results transcript already but is it enough for me to get an employment pass? I heard that the MoM is very particular on the certificate, no cert no talk. I am going to MoM next week for my employment pass (Q1) but my cert is not available until August. Anyone actually get an employment pass without showing cert?

QUOTE(jimmy79 @ Jul 4 2008, 05:14 PM) PS: something to add, More likely, if your basic monthly salary is below $2,500 but you have an acceptable university degree or diploma from a recognised educational institution in Singapore, you may also apply for the Employment PassThat's the problem that I am facing now. My salary is below 2500 yet my company apply a Q1 pass for me. My application is approved (without submit any cert to the online application) and I need to go over MoM for the green card next week. I do not have cert, only results transcipt and a letter that proved my qualification. I would like to know that is that enough for the MoM to grant me the Q1 employment pass

QUOTE(peng123 @ Jul 9 2008, 02:18 PM) may i know how much is fee for work permit if i going to work in singapore ? is it pay by me or my employer ? pls advise ..... thanks. Work permit is $150 per month, Employment pass is $30 per year. If your company pay for you then its nice, if not then you have to pay the fee with your own money.

^Most Singapore food court do not send the food to your table. You have to take it yourself. Your food is ready fast, so you can just stand in front of the stall a while when waiting for your food to be ready.
