Hi Guys,, i use to work in singapore and have since came back to Malaysia. As you all know in Singapore all the srivces are contract bound. So when i left i just signed a 2 yrs contract with Starhub and Fitness first. They have since send me lawyer letters threatening to bring me to court bla bla bla.. Being the ignorant Malaysian that i am, i brush all this threat aside. Now it has come back to bite me in the BACKSIDE... I needd to go to singapore for a business meeting... I am worried that i might be apprehanded when i am at the singapore's custom.. Also i might have some outstanding Credit Card bills.. Oppsss..I am planning to feign an accident before my trip so that i dont have to go to singapore... But question is do you guys think they have a record with Singapore customs?

Hmm Maybe i should just pay those Freaking Blood suckers... I dont think i can skip this meeting but i dont know wether i will be able to make it pass their custom. Beside the amount i owe them should be very minimal.. A few hundred bucks at most. But you know how Singaporean's are.. They have plain cloths police to monitor smokers.. They fine you for jay walking... I just dont wan to make a scene during the trip because i will be travelling with a few high level executive from my company... God damn it... how am i gonna get out of this mess

Yep... Rakuzen is really good in City hall.. Another place i like to eat Sushi in Singapore is shouyu in the shopping opposite Clark q. I forget the name but its a modern jap restaurant... But get ready to go to ur nearest mamak after dinner cause the portion is really small. Its sort of a japanese fine dinning restaurant.

Added on August 9, 2008, 11:42 pmWhen i was working in Singapore i was able to save around 1k sgd. a month because i didnt have to pay EPF. Until i got my PR. then it was a stretch. It all depends on ur lifestyle. But the living cost in singapore is low plus u dont need to pay for a car so thats a big plus. I was able to save more money when i was in Singapore ,even though i am making slightly more In malaysia now. The living cost in Kl is really atrocious.
