QUOTE(bbmars @ Aug 3 2008, 10:54 PM) Har?, one month ago was 2.25? are you sure or not. Its been 2.3+ for few months already in SG and I thought it would be better in MY. My colleague went Malacca in Apr change at 2.38 as he mentioned again last Friday. I can recall, I think you can check currency charge MY vs SG, there was one day, it hit 2.4 but drop back into 2.3+ region. I saw it on CNA TV. Of course, money changer won't give you that kind of rate, but 2.25 is too low...... Just check, it was 2.37. There is an online site to check for me, just that the rate will be about 0.02 differrent if you were to buy. I tried before last year very true, i have been monitoring the exchange rate in daily basis so i can tell, 2.25 is just way too low..Last Dec, I changed at 2.29. In the past, if I go into JB, I would changed in JB as the rate slightly higher than SG though not really significant unless large amount. Don't tell me things changes so much..... nowadays average u can change 2.37 to 2.39. u can check the latest exchange rate at http://www.wawasanmoneychanger.com.my/ - money changer in midvalley |

QUOTE(J(o)y @ Aug 4 2008, 12:13 PM) Any reason for the higher rates in M'sia?? I beliv this apply not only to SGD, but also other currencies, such as NZD, AUD, HKD, etc.. always change in Malaysia, u can get higher rate becuz u r selling others country currency to malaysia.Isit bcos, other countries offer some extra services, M'sian exchanger don't? Added on August 4, 2008, 12:19 pmNot sure if anyone asked this before. Anyone use laundry services before in Singpore? 1. How do they charge in Singapore? in kilogram or by per piece? 2. What is the rate? 3. Isit very convient? 4. How far isit from your accomodation (roughly how many minutes or km?) Walking distance? 5. Where do you stay? if u change in singapore, u r selling back Sing dollar to them, so u wont get very high xchange rate This post has been edited by Guai Guai Zai: Aug 4 2008, 12:46 PM |

Is it safe to dropoff at puduraya?
All the while i only take aeroline bus and dropoff at 1U and Sunway pyramid. But this time aeroline fully booked, so i have to take other alternative to go back malaysia. Only concern is i will be going back at 7pm and will reach puduraya around 12 midnite, so is it advisable not to bring too much money back ? |
