thats one of the downside of sub ohm coils..

u need to make it wicks well so that it remained wet even at high wattage..

at high watts, ur time between puffs is a lil longer to make sure that wicks get saturated..

past version have mentioned about prime pulls by fully blocking the air hole, gently draw without firing to get ur wick saturate faster..

after 2-3 draws, unblock ur air hole and vape on..

the harsh throat hit is not due to nic, u r firing at the wrong wattage..

for a 0.6ohm, you should be firing at least 22watts to optimally discharge your battery, if your battery is rated at 3.7v.

u will feel the difference once u up the wattage..

basic optimal wattage setting for ur coil = (battery volt X battery volt)/ coil resistance(ohm).

in ur case, i assume ur battery is rated at 3.7v, most of 18650 be it high drain or not, is rated at 3.7v.

optimal wattage setting = (3.7v X 3.7v) / 0.6ohm = 22.816 watt = ~22 - 23watts..

that vaping chart is based from what, 2010-2011 IINM..

at that time, the wire gauge used were either 30awg or 32awg and these wire heated up pretty quick which is correct when referring to the vaping chart.

the newer wires used are lower resistance wire, mainly 28awg and below which is thicker.

at your specs with the current build type, u can easily fire at 14watts with no issue.

just make sure that ur wicks have good wicking ability meaning that it gets saturated fast so that it will not burn ur wick fast.
