Working in Maxis is good. They got a very good Employee Benefit insurance plan. You are insured with HLA with minimum RM50k and up to RM750k (depending on your grading) and you are covered for death, total permanent disability, and also critical illness.

Actually most companies now got insurance covered wat. (ie. ING)

Depending on the company spending... the package given to da staff is different. Like my previous company, if u worker and u a staff. Got insurance covered for u, ur wife and children. thumbup.gif

Since we on this topic. Do they support your home loan or car loan ?

I know if u work there, you must have 012 no. lar

What about other BENEFITS that stand out ? flex.gif

the benefit for ccc...(contract staff) ,
No medical card is provided but you will get you dental card ...
Flexible claim ..(every year you can claim any thing for a certain amount , but will be depend on the grade.)
Handphone subsidy..( once for every 2 years you can claim but will be depend on the grade.)
Phone Bill Subsidy..( depend on the grade for how much you can get)
All these are the most common allowance is provided in maxis...

(But if you r permanent staff you wil get year end bonus for 2 months , and performance bonus, contract staff will get their performance bonus and contract end bonus....)
I think should be that's all...

hmm..... I went for the walk-in interview too. Asked the interviewer is this a contract job.

YES.. but good news is, its under Maxis directly.
BTW contract end bonus is how many month?

Actually I also wanna enquire for those... who have joined Maxis.. and Digi..

which will you guys think good in your personal preference?

Looking at alot of aspects. I personally feel Digi (in term of benefits) is better.

But not sure how is the environment, people, workloads and others perhaps?

Anyone has any idea on how Maxis pay to their new CCC staff?
Basic = ???
Incentive = ???
Shift Allowance = ???
Trnsport Allowance = ???

Graduate Trainee in Maxis...

Hmm .... High CGPA... Generally 3.5 above..

Good Working exposure... Nice Pay and Benefits...

Depending on what you have majored...

Engineering.. Management... IT.. Business..

You are then fitted into Maxis NEO, EBD, CDCS, Marketing,

A fresh entry Engineer in Maxis gets about RM 2400 a month... im talking about the base pay here..

But it depends.. on how.. u nego...

A typical fresh grad will just Sign the Offer Letter...

The benefits will vary in terms of whether u are Maxis Permanent or Maxis Contract ( Direct Maxis)

fresh grad pay is RM2.6k + RM350 + RM200 (support OT) for software engineer.

the RM350 is telephone

but from 2008 onwards

RM350 (voice call) + RM350 (data transfer sms/mms/etc) = RM700 free telephone allowance.

so meaning rm2.6k + rm700 + rm200 = software engineer maxis
