hi,

was planning to buy c4 or m4. i have found a lot of issues from the net, hope users of both handset here can clarify this :-)

1. Battery doesn't last as long for normal usage
2. Heating issues while using camera apps, apparently it's worse on the m4
3. Camera quality is average with slow capture rate (2-3 secs after pressing capture button)

If for recommendations, Samsung A5, Xperia C4 or M4 will you recommend me for my selfie sister? :-)

Cheers!

im M4 aqua user.. i can answer few of your question based on my user experience.

1. Battery normally i can use 1.5 days with 4hours screen on time.. for heavy usage, 5hours+ screen on time from 7am till 12pm.. (not sure where you listen from about the battery doesn't last long)

2. currently im using camera capture and video for few minutes, i dont feel uncomfort heat.. but i feel warm on cameralens area.. But i will more significant warm when i use AR effect apps.. if normal superior auto and manual mode i will feel ok..

3. i do post few samples previously.. u can check the quality.. slow capture, yes..just like normal sony camera lens..

A5, C4, M4 all pricing different.. depend on your budget..

I'm reading from some review from different source, some comment good but some bad. Especially China Taiwan forum critics until no value. But so far from my unit I feel ok. Yeah color is natural and same as actual environment. Starbucks that photo is night time, lighting condition same as what photo was shown. I would say photo average good. Not that bad.

But overall photo can prove to people. Let people judge.

Rear camera lens are the same.. but C4 and M4 front is different.. C4 using Exmor R 25mm lens which got 80 degree wide of view.. While in M4 front is 22mm which got 88 degree wide angle.. Sony Mobile didnt state M4 use Exmor R.. but in some india mobile review do mentioned M4 use Exmor R lens too.. but not too sure it legit or not..

So basically rear lens are the same.. front should be C4 perform better in lowlight.. additional C4 do have front soft flashlight..

for front camera photo, in lowlight situation i will recommend people use manual mode turn on HDR and set timer 0.5 sec for selfie or wefie.. if hand very shaky then set to 2secs to ready stabiliser our own hand.. HDR can improve the photo lighting

Nice pic. It is very clear. I wonder if compare to C4 front which one is better since C4 sacrifice waterproof it should have invested into the camera right? And I see some images there is a bit curvy/dent effect. Is this filter settings?

Sure dont have any filter.. All original. For the work from home and New phone (orange shirt), i think these 2 might be captured under Portrait Retouch.. not so sure.. the rest are in Superior Auto.. If indoor tube light or outdoor backlight, use manual mode with HDR on will get better photo output.. Not so sure about the curvy/dent effect?? which photo?? maybe the camera wide angle.. 88degree, so you feel some curvy/dent effect?!

The image produced by Z3 front camera is better than my ZL.. but lose to M4 i think.. dont sad.. haha.. different year of design and manufacturing.. now its 5mp front camera era.. M4 is focus for daily users, while Z3 offer overall best experience to users.

I cant help much except giving my personal opinion on mydevice.. all device are smart and good enough already.. most importantly, what you prefer.. i need dual sim phone with average performance will do.. now focus on work, no gaming ady, so M4 serve me well ady except the internal storage.. Need dual sim badly if not i will go for high end phone for long term future usage.. Dual sim is easier for me to talk with my gf.. i got 1 postpaid sim is no minimum commitment and call free with my gf.. so i surely want to keep this sim and my primary line is another sim.. previously just use Nokia phone to call free.. but i need smartphone then i can connect bluetooth to talk with my gf.. easier than holding the nokia phone near to my ears for long time.. very pain..
