QUOTE(akachester @ May 27 2007, 01:13 PM) Anyone who have the PC-7 can clarify this with me. I just check out my casing yesterday and saw that the HDD tray have 2 screw on them. Is it possible to change the orientation of the HDD to make it face sideways if i wanted to change it? Possible, I've seen it. The hdd tray is held by 2 screws and 2 rivets at the front. Basically the front of the hdd tray is not held by the 2 rivets but is clamped by a piece of aluminum which is riveted to the casings base. |

QUOTE(akachester @ May 27 2007, 01:32 PM) Yea, i realised that as well yesterday. I always thought the HDD tray is held up by the rivets at the front but when i look properly, it is clamped by the 2 aluminum piece. I though of switching the HDD tray to face the side just to have a better cable management i guess but when i look properly at the tray, if i really do it, the side will block the air from the front intake though which makes me kinda worried about the airflow later... The airflow will be bad especially for the GC slot. But then you could change your rear fan from exhaust to intake. Then get 1 side panel fans from Lian Li as exhaust. |

QUOTE(akachester @ May 29 2007, 08:14 PM) Gosh, having problem with my PC-7 already. The metal part used to cover those front connectors are already getting loose. A slight bump and that thing will fall down..Any idea how to fix it? Argh now you make me worried too.Ohya btw LL PC-7S users i need an answer. Is your side panel normal(without window or any holes) or does it has a hole for Lian Li side panel fan? Now i feel regret abit getting PC-7. Now i see PC-7S more beautiful. Maybe should had gotten PC-7S. |

I leave it close always. If you check back my pictures you will notice my front panel is not connected at all for cabling management so look neater.

Okay notice the following image. There is 6 red circles. You will notice that there is something in those circles which functions by pushing the side panels outwards thus reducing vibration. Where can i get them? If you are a owner of PC-007 you will know it doesn't come with the casing or is it only mine doesn't come with it?
![]() The image is not mine nor a LL PC-007. Its a LL A07 but the holes are the same. |
