And whenever you get posting it is not guaranteed too you will get to teach what you specialise at. It depends what subject teachers the school lacks.

I have known a lot of teachers who till their retirement have yet to teach what they specialised.

Your current option would be to be a teacher in private school. Applying for government posts is not very possible for you anymore. KPLI is not a guaranteed path but it perhaps is worth some try.

IPG has an age limit. Maximum age is 19 or 20, if I am not mistaken.

IPG/UPU always have age limit, unlike private universities.

Teaching in private universities don't necessarily require an education degree although having one is definitely much safer, but then teaching in private schools do not need a teaching certificate from government. You can get TESL from any IPTS and still teach in any place, just not in government places like secondary schools.

Chance is very slim as priority will be given to younger ones. But I guess you can give a try.

i see, but there is PPISMP and PISMP, PPISMP is equivalent to foundation (1 year), can i apply straight for PISMP (4 years)?

its too late already. upu registration closed at 4 april. a-level can only apply for private university. upsi is a public uni.

It is possible but the chances is not high as preference will be given to those in IPG. Lots of my friends are still waiting for posting despite graduating from UPSI two years ago. And since it is announced recently that they will freeze employment of new government servant, I guess your chances is much slimmer.
