where did you see at the Validity365 option at *100#? i check via here and it show,

*100#

6 MyAccount & Others

3 Buy Validity

1 RM8 for 90 Days(Not applicable for #Hotlink Plan)
2 RM33 for 365 Days(Not applicable for #Hotlink Plan)
at Hotlink RED Apps, INTERNETĀ  BUY MOREĀ  PASSES, it only show 6 DATA Purchase Options and no Validity365 Purchase Options like previously after plan change.

Should be the same one as Option 2 that you've there, I only looked after Hotlink mentioned it in an earlier post here. From the Red App... didn't really take notice from there as my intention all along was just to get a data plan with 365-day validity. This new Validity365 requirement really caught me off guard.

My data not working even though it's supposed to expire in May. Fuck Hotlink, they're a bunch of scammers. How can they just terminate my plan after I've paid?

Is it possible to get my money back by filing complain to SKMM/MCMC?

Which plan did you pay for, and when was the subscription date? Were there already 2 different expiry dates when you did the data subscription?

Hotlink Tablet Plan. Rm 45 for 2gb, 1 year validity. Bought it in May last year.

When I bought it there was only one expiry date. They changed the 1 year validity recently to regular rm30 topup=30 days validity.

I haven't been able to use it throughout April, especially when I needed it most for work when my workplace wifi was down.

I've a card expiring in May too, and when I got into the Hotlink Red app, I see 2 expiry dates and both are also May 2017.

The recent change should not affect our cards since that's way after our subscriptions. Have you got into the app to check the expiry dates? For the data expiry, you've to tap on your data balance to see it. Check your data balance and expiry date, and also the validity of your line on the home page. nod.gif

The problem is my card can't use data or login into the Hotlink Red app at all.

No access to WiFi as well?

If you've a friend with access to the Red app, he/she can also log out of his/hers and log in with your phone number. PIN will be sent to your line.

Otherwise *122# is to check card balance... go through the *100# menu to check the rest of the information...?

Or, contact Hotlink here to check the line for you - send them a PM.

That's not true. I have a hotlink tablet plan bought in 2014, used for two years without issue, then topped up in November 2016, and it expired in Feb 2017. Basically the plan got changed, and it affected plan purchased in the past. If your plan still show validity and internet plan expiring at same date, then it is probably still ok. But be careful when you next top up, you might find they no longer provide the 365 days validity.

Not sure why Maxis want to do this. It is not like those on such plan are hogging their bandwidth due to extremely limited amount of quota. It is really merely for light use only.

Mainly those who bought their latest 2GB late last year onwards, like you, are affected by the change.

We bought ours around mid last year.

Bought earlier than mid last year. Be careful when you top up. I ignored the expiry date, thinking it is usual bug and the plan got terminated while I still have lots of quota left.

Yes, so if you've bought early last year or late the year before, that 2GB would have expired around early this year or late last year. Thus, if you bought another 2GB after that, it'd have been around when they made the changes.

If you'd followed the discussions here, many have already mentioned about the 2 different expiry dates and Maxis Hotlink subsequently confirmed that after the change, paying RM45 for 2GB gives users only 1-year validity on the data, and constant top-up has to be done to keep the line active in order to use the data.
