how old is your sim card? in order to receive LTE, if your sim card is quite old, you won't receive it because the sim card is not supported. so u have to change to a newer sim card. this applies to all network.

I have changed to U SIM but then it doesn't work. Weird.
If I switch to my maxis, it works |

What's your phone model? If it's an iPhone 5 then you cannot use Digi LTE due to incompatible LTE band.

QUOTE(aleluya @ May 12 2015, 01:49 AM) LTE is not available in all locations now, so some telco in a certain location might have it, some don't. its not like very well covered like 3G/3.5G (HSDPA+)ex. maxis has 4G at subang, doesn't mean digi has it. just an example. |

Sony Xperia Z Ultra? I checked in GSMarena doesn't seem to match the model number that supports LTE band. Seems like yours is oversea set/AP set and I can't find the LTE bands that it supports. FYI, malaysia band is band 3 (1800mhz) and band 7 (2600mhz)

Hmm.. That's odd..
For those who said the area, it's not an easy. My wife is using Digi as well and she has the LTE connection while mine don't. If that's the case, is it only maxis supports the C6833 LTE? |

C8633 is MY set, should be able to connect to Digi LTE (band 7)
You can do a force LTE mode only to see if it is able to connect to LTE, insert *#*#4636#*#* in dialer > Phone info > Set preferred network type > LTE only Wait awhile to see got signal or not, remember to switch back to default setting after finish testing, if not you won't be able to call people and use USSD. |
