Is MBB confirmed opening a branch in OC? At least now ada Starbucks & Guardian in The Place, hopefully more "quality" tenants will come in soon.

i think most demanding shop is zap fan store.open zap fan store with average price tag RM 5-7 sure day day full house

Bro, jatuh std lo open chap fan stall in OC! biggrin.gif SA complained no cheap food in OC but I tot places like Station 1 Kopitiam prices should be OK? hmm.gif

chap fan store can open standard abit with some deco or name it as risotto store~

now already jatuh standard lolz.. middle section there like pasar pagi...
see main place got KFC , MCD and texas chicken...

lastest new daman also got jaya grocer liao... OC wait natural dead or open chap fan store smile.gif

which The place are you refering to? The place at cyberjaya? starbuck already have 2 in cyberjaya, they wanna open another starbucks at The Place? got so many ppl drink starbucks ah?

the place @ one city ~ just beside one city , inside empty just got starbuck open only...

I visited this mall a few times for business reason and happened to see this thread so i just want to share my opinion.

The way i see the strategy of this mall is not going to work well. I believe it's initial plan was to invite lots of established companies to setup their office there and the demand or shoppers will come from the workers. However, there are a few challenges there:
1. Office units are already over supplied
2. This area is not a hot-spot for offices.
3. The rental is expensive
4. What's the incentive for established company to relocate to OC?

I said OC is aiming for established companies coz the rental is expensive hence new companies probably wouldn't be able to afford to have a new office there.

I know MRCA has moved their HQ there, WCT is their member, probably there is a collaboration between them, hoping that MRCA can use its network to influence their members to move their office there.

Without traffic the mall will not be successful. Natural shopper wouldn't go to OC because it is not as comprehensive as Sunway Pyramid, One U or Midvalley.

U may not aware that their offices now fully tenanted and WCT is not related to one city.. Haha

Further more,traffic will be improve once one city mall complete. Currently ingress and egress not problem
