Hi PC builder experts,
Can suggest me a gaming rig for budget about RM6K?
Requirement : GPU at least GTX970 and 27" monitor.
I've tested ASUS MX279H and I would say it's pretty sweet and affordable at RM1300+. Any better monitor within that price range?

Not all Xeon is better than i5 but the Xeon I suggested is same tier with i7 4790 with lower clock speed and no iGPU only.

The difference between Asus and Palit is the price, design, clock speed etc. Asus product is overpriced I would say, you end up paying extra RM 250+/- if you choose Asus for the same GTX970 that you could get with Palit.

Thanks a heap. I'll bear that in mind when I purchase for my rig! Do you think GTX970 is enough for every game?

With the current technology and hardware offered in the market, it is impossible to run triple A title at 4K at 60 fps (max settings) with just a single card, even the top tier GPU like Titan X.

You might end up with 2 or 3 way SLI of the top tier GPU to achieve that but it is not really worth the money in my opinion.

I will rather wait for 4K ready GPU (with single GPU since SLI sometimes not really working well with some games) before I invest in a 4K monitor or play at 4K resolution at max settings.

But if you want to know how much to spend in order to achieve 60 fps at 4K max settings, you will need at least another GTX980Ti + higher wattage PSU + SLI ready mobo. The total money needed will cost you a bomb  sweat.gif

I think I'll wait for 4k ready GPU first. BTW, Will GTX980Ti support 4k gaming?

Even mid end GPU like GTX960 can also support 4K gaming, it is just the matter of playable frame rate TBH  tongue.gif

Haha, we wouldnt want that now, do we. I'm talking about a full blown 4k gaming on a 60 FPS. Do you think GTX980Ti is sufficient?

Medium settings (no AA) probably can have 60 FPS with a single GTX980Ti, if you are talking about max settings then confirmed cannot with the latest triple A titles.

What's AA and what does it do? What are triple A titles?
