[Budget] = RM3000, possible to increase up to RM3.5k

Gaming + Microsoft Office

Casing (slightly bigger than normal size) + PSU (OCZ 500W) + 500gb HD (if budget allows, maybe can buy a brand new 1TB HD)

1920x1080

DOTA2 and CS:GO, but prefer to have options open for higher-end games on medium

Nvidia, XEON, 120gb SSD (250gb if can fit budget) , prefer to be able to buy the parts from 1 shop.

PJ / KL

Was thinking of getting a GTX960 to save money as a 970 seems to be RM500 more expensive?

My PSU is about 6-7 years old, I'm not sure if I have to replace it for these new hardware.

Thanks for any advice you can provide smile.gif

Thanks for the suggestion! May I know how come the Zotac is so cheap? Any compromise in terms of performance or quality of the card?

Well if you looked for Asus, Gigabyte or MSI at first then you probably won't know their products are overpriced, if you want best for bucks, look for Zotac/Palit/Leadtek/Gainward etc, their prices are more reasonable. The card I suggested is reference card, meaning it is using standard blower type cooler and will run hotter than non reference card, if you want non reference card which comes with custom cooler, design and clock speed, the cheapest that I found is Palit GTX970 Jetstream version, RM 1377 from Cycom. Cheapest and most expensive GTX970 is still a GTX970, the performance will still be the same, just a small frame rate advantage for those overclocked card, don't forget you can always overclock yourself to match the clock speed offered by other brands if you want.

Alright I'll consider the Palit as well. If I want to stretch the budget I will probably opt for that. Thanks a lot!
