since MCO, my new hobby is buying sneakers....

as right now i already got 4 pairs and if my prediction is correct i would buy one more sneakers... the thing is... how many is too much lol?

my current sneakers:

1. Pro-Keds ala converse chuck taylor style
2. Adidas Senseboost go
3. Adidas Sensebounce+ace
4. Nike React Element 55 Premium
5. Adidas Ultraboost 19

now aiming for Nike Pegasus Turbo 2 if the got sales and going for cheap price.

and ef me... i just missed the chance to get Nike Space Hippie. Already sold out at nike snkrs malaysia and resellers are putting a very hefty price on those....

I don't think 4 pairs is much, some guys have huge collections of sneakers!

Same with the shopping, especially since after MCO many retailers are having sales in the stores or online!

I just bought a Puma Interflex Modern at Original Classic for just RM 125! Very light and comfortable, cheap.
Hate that OC seldom updates their website stock though, always have to go to their various stores to trawl for deals.

I still have several pairs of lightly worn sneakers. Like my favourite black Puma Tsugi Kori, seldom get to wear it, because it's a waterproof winter/rain shoe and it's too hot for the weather here!

Sometimes I see a design I really like and will try to buy it if within budget, but end up it is uncomfortable or seldom used, keep it until it spoils and gets thrown away...

Hello to all sneakers sifu, just want to ask a random question, to those who store their sneakers in transparent shoe box, do you prefer and think it's a nicer and better way to store it sideways or entering from the front ?

Reason I ask is because I initially thought this box that I bought can be enter from the front, but it can only be enter sideways, not that I'm complaining, sideways looks nice, but just want to see if most people prefer sideways or entering from front ? As well as pros/cons if there's any between the 2.

Don’t buy too many till you don’t know which one to wear like me but I prefer leather sneakers even though it's much more heavier than sport shoe...

well i do try to secure black sneakers since i can wear them to office. anyways cant help it. i got my ultraboost 19 for rm250. thats really cheap lol.

lets just say i never spend more than rm300 for a pair of sneakers that i bought.

My boost material is yellowish now and looking for a cheaper alternative to the Crep Marker Pen.

Does the matte finish look closer to the original boost than the glossy finish? Also whether I would be able to get the Sharpie pens at stationery shops?

I noticed a new sub-line of the Ultraboost 20 - "Summer ready" ?

Apparently it features an upper knit, so will this be somewhat as soft, smooth and stretchy as the primeknit from the ultraboost uncaged I'm wearing now?

Been pining these Undercover 720’s for the longest time. Now to get my hands on Daybreaks.

The matte finish definitely looks better, I got mine from online. Hard to find in physical stores.

I didn't know there's a Sneaker thread

Here're some Reebok x Boost purchases the last few weeks. Really liking the instapump and boost on these, best of both for comfort.
I really enjoyed running in the SoleFury Boost, so much so I bought 3 pairs. The ride is so comfy and I felt I could continue running after reaching my daily limit.

how much are these and where do you buy them ?

I got them off the Reebok website but I'm in the UK. However the Instapumps Boost are now out of stock as of last week, most likely discontinued now. Glad I managed to get them in my size. Prices do vary for each one, some were from 30%-50% off for the summer sale. Prices has gone back up for the solefury now to about £90. The Instapumps were about £80 to £100 depending on model.

Don't worry. Not that many. As long as you wear them each for ample amount of time that's fine.

My shelf:
1. Nike Air Jordan 9 Retro (wore for special occasion only, e.g. my wedding, during my honeymoon)
2. Nike Kyrie 5 Oreo (occasional outing, friends' wedding)
3. Nike PG2 Obsidian (occasional outing)
4. Sketcher Go Walk 3 (everyday to work)
5. Adidas D Rose 773 V (Gym and outdoor basketball)

Got another pair of shoes for jogging but spoiled and haven't got another pair for myself since mco.

Wanted to buy one Jordan 1 High but unfortunately the colors I like all have high resell value. So they always got cleaned out by hoggers/resellers. As much as I like sneakers but I'm not gonna pay 4 digits for sneakers that were marked up by reseller market. Rather buy a nice pair of customized oxford shoes with that money.

Bought a few more pairs of trainers this month. After running in the Reebok x Boost and loving it. Thought I'd get a pair UB to try on as well and I got carried away a bit.
I couldn't decide with so many colourways but I love the blue/purple hues.

I had to go half a size larger for the UB4.0 and DNA whereas the UB20 fits perfectly.





My favourite pair so far from the 5th Anniversary Pack. In fact I bought an extra pair of UB DNA in case this one wears prematurely from running
I would have done the same for the UB20 too but it's the last pair that I could find.





I'm still unsure of the grey colourway with the iridescent heel cup. It can get a bit too sparkly when it's under bright sunlight.

i see u got the ultraboost x ISS... nice! where did u bought those and how much it cost?
