PPPoE - An Acronym for Point to Point Protocol over Ethernet a complete difinition could be read here...

VC-MUX is faster because it has less overhead (3 bytes I think)

LLC stands for Logical Link Control
VC-MUX stands for Virtual Channel MUltipleXing
