My H3C is 1 yr 1 mth old still working perfectly. Battery is slowing down so might just buy a new batt.
QUOTE(sitescope @ May 20 2015, 06:59 PM)
Anyway, cheap hp like this can last 1yr only… After that must sell/upgrade, otherwise loss a lot… My previous H3C bought at rm500 n sell it for rm300 after 1yr…

What I hate about mi4i is no MicroSD support and batt is non replaceable.
QUOTE(omisa @ Jun 13 2015, 08:07 PM)
guys, is this phone a better choice compared to mi4i?

If have friends in India, can tumpang them to buy for u? tongue.gif
QUOTE(sitescope @ Jun 16 2015, 09:37 PM)

China and India market is big enough for them... problem is usually demand exceed supply. Msia is super small mkt for them so less priority to launch here until factory can cope with demand.
QUOTE(Kato888 @ Jun 18 2015, 10:52 AM)
Don't quite understand why Lenovo would delay its release when it can pwn Meizu M1 Note and Honor 4X for its price and specs.. coincidentally its coming out at the same time as Redmi Note 2.. coincidence? I think not.

H4X is different league... does not have FHD screen res so forget abt it.
QUOTE(imin @ Jun 19 2015, 10:32 AM)
contemplating either this or honor 4x.. which one has better camera?

----

I have always ignored Lenovo mobile phones (for their previous models) because their design looks "outdated". But this K3 Note is decent looking... almost like an up-sized Honor 3C which I have grown to like.

In Lazada some selling RM579, some selling RM830. What's the difference?
Is it better to buy at Lowyat (can feel & touch and test) before buying?
Kindly advise, thanks.

------

Also for folks who already have the phone, can kindly check if Vietnamese is one of the language options provided? Cos I am buying it for a friend there. Thanks.

Thanks very much for the info, bro. icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(Kato888 @ Jul 1 2015, 03:00 PM)
RM579 sold by IDSmartphone at discounted price, one of the first distributors to bring in the phone originally priced at ~RM625....

If you buy from Lazada you can use 10% voucher.

And to answer your question on language, yes they do support Vietnames language...

Just doing some price comparisons:

China price....... RM527 (CNY899)
http://shop.lenovo.com.cn/product/45012.html

ID Wholesale Smartphone shop.............. RM588 (But Sold Out for Now)
http://idsmartphone.com.my/

Singapore price.... between RM504 - 560 (S$180 - 200)

Lazada price...... RM622 - 1,037

Seems like Lazada Msia price is most expensive.

Actually there is NO price increase. Lenovo in China still selling at RM527 (CNY899).
It's just that some ppl cannot wait and don't mind paying MORE for it via Lazada etc.

Price Updates:

China price....... RM527 (CNY899) PLS USE THIS AS BENCHMARK!
http://shop.lenovo.com.cn/product/45012.html

ID Wholesale Smartphone shop.............. RM588 (Back In Stock!)
http://idsmartphone.com.my/

Singapore price.... between RM504 - 560 (S$180 - 200)

Satu Gadget....... RM595
http://www.satugadget.com.my/lenovo-k3-not...al-imported-set

Greenfone Gadget Store..... RM598
http://www.lelong.com.my/merchant/greenfonegadget.htm

DirectD.............. RM599
http://www.directd.com.my/lenovo-k3-note

Lazada price...... RM622 - 1,037

------------------------------------------

Yes, you are quite right. Just that I do not understand why some kids bought at RM5++ and see someone in Lazada selling at 600 - 1K, they seem to think they have "saved" some money and prices have increased. Prices have NOT gone up. In fact, they will keep going down and down.... this same phone next year will probably be RM400 or less....

QUOTE(Kato888 @ Jul 7 2015, 11:36 PM)
My advise is: if you see it at a price you think it's good, just go ahead and get it (I waited 3 months before getting this phone)...

S'pore also selling AP sets from China. As far as I know, only India is selling int'l sets.

I think Lenovo is trying to clear its current inventory of outdated and overpriced phones in MY/SG before bringing in the K3N. Once the K3N hits the market here officially, all those older models will be totally redundant and unable to sell. (This is just my opinion).

MY/SG is "kuching kurap" market compared to China/India.

QUOTE(kob3bryant @ Jul 11 2015, 09:55 PM)
hi, since you knows the price of k3 being sold in singapore, are those orginal local singapore set with different rom like those AP china?

Is there someone who lives in KL/PJ who has successfully rooted/flashed the phone to India rom also do it for me?

I am buying the phone online and after getting it, I will only have a few days with it before I pass it to my friend overseas. I won't have time to play around with it.

Let me know ya. I don't mind paying u a bit for your time. Can meet at nearest kopitiam in your neighbourhood.

Thanks.

Finally met up with mulut99 last night for kopi and he helped me flash my phone. Super nice guy. Offered to pay him a bit for his trouble but he refused payment. After flashing, I went home and updated to S117. Phone is now working perfectly without any Chinese bloatware & spam.

THANKS VERY MUCH, MULUT99 BRO. APPRECIATE THE HELP. rclxms.gif

-------

Btw I found that a Music Player is missing in S117. Looks like I have to download frm Google Playstore. What do u guys use to play music?
UPDATE: Have installed Onkyo HF app... best ever music player. thumbup.gif

Flashlight feature from S114 is also missing in S117. sad.gif

I still can't find it. Where is the "notification panel"? tongue.gif
QUOTE(mulut99 @ Jul 26 2015, 02:56 PM)
U are welcome. S117 got music player and torch. All at notification panel.

I think maybe salesman is just guessing. By Dec, lots of new models would have launched. Meixu M2 Note with similar specs already selling for just RM699. K3N will have to follow China pricing and remain below RM600 to stay competitive.
QUOTE(mulut99 @ Jul 26 2015, 04:00 PM)
Havent launch yet....i ask the Lenovo saleman....roughly around rm800.

Oh...thanks a lot, bro! I found it, finally... haha!

QUOTE(mulut99 @ Jul 26 2015, 04:28 PM)
Just pull down from top of the screen to view the notification panel.
---

One of the biggest advantage (at least for me) of K3N vs Meizu N2 is that the battery of K3N is user-replaceable. Which means after 1+ years when it's time to change batt, u need not send it back to the distributor. Useful for those who are living outside KL... or overseas.

When you buy at the shop, make sure it does not have the flickering problem encountered by this guy.

I detected a strange thing with the K3N. Today left the phone in the car and it got a bit hot. After that I found that the wi-fi does not detect any signals unless I am VERY near the wi-fi hub.

I switched off the phone to let it cool down a bit. Powered on and everything back to normal. Anyone else encountered this problem?
