On S117, rooted and xposed. Used SetCPU to change the governor to NOOP. Don't why i always use that governor.
So far, so good.

I've purchased a couple of cases from aliexpress, lelong, etc and not satisfied with all of them.
Has anyone seen anything like the below casing for our K3 Note? http://www.amazon.com/LEIMI®-Metal-Bumper...e/dp/B00OA1Q06S? |

QUOTE(uan @ Aug 22 2015, 04:59 PM) Funny thing about this phone's rom. Everybody is making their own rom, but nobody want to perfect it. Most of these ROMs are ported ROMs with very minimal modification to the source. It's not easy to make changes to source. Also, Lenovo only released the source for the India ROM and i dont think it's the latest. There's no git to grab sources from. e.g. I changed the resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x720 for performance and some battery gains. However, the touch buttons (menu, home, back) are now no longer working. This is because the touch buttons are part of the touch screen and as such are coded to work with the 1920x1080 resolution. I went through the India ROM source and saw that there are a lot of touchscreen driver source codes. Dont know which one to modify. Anyhow, here is the Antutu bench result on 720p. |

if the A7000 plus is running at 1.5ghz, then it's got an MT6752m instead of the MT6752 that we have in our K3 Note.

QUOTE(strawberry.my @ Sep 16 2015, 09:33 AM) Hi there. I try to use KingRoot android version to root my K3 Note but failed. At the end, it recommend me to use desktop version to root it. flashing with the SU binary is much faster and easier.Anybody successfully root it with KingRoot desktop version? Thanks. |

QUOTE(uan @ Nov 15 2015, 08:30 AM) Use this rom for several days. Blazing fast. But battery performance not very good compare to carbon rom (s121 base, also from same dev, however carbon rom already removed as jiayu said it was based on his work and was published without permission). Carbon K3 Lite has been suceeded by Phoenix Basic. Can be found on needrom.Restore app use Titanium Backup. Restore rom use twrp backup. I think it can be flashed to a7000+, but you need to flash the correct modem driver to make the cellular radio works. |
