Ketua Polis Trafik Kuala Lumpur, Asisten Komisioner Mohd Nazri Hussin yang dihubungi mengesahkan kejadian itu dan kes disiasat mengikut seksyen 41(1) Akta Pengangkutan Jalan 1987.

Beliau juga menjelaskan siasatan rapi sedang dijalankan termasuk menilai kemungkinan ada unsur perlumbaan di lokasi kejadian seperti didakwa beberapa saksi.

"Di lokasi itu juga tiada kamera litar tertutup (CCTV) dan ia sedikit menyukarkan siasatan, namun kita akan siasat di segala aspek termasuk pemandu Myvi terbabit," katanya.

DUKE highway got toll one no? CCTV at toll booth to check, since they already got one Myvi apprehended, goreng the suspect then know where their whereabouts. Ini kali orang mati, mesti kena siasat sampai jumpa kubur nenek moyang dia orang.
