I love salad, for 2 months, everyday every morning I force myself to eat...but its getting tasteless day by day..until I bloated (effect of stomach gas I think) and vomit 2-3 times. The salad could not adapt with my stomach..Unless I add chicken , sausage.. The money spent is a bomb..

The good thing is I feel healthy and my digestive system work like charm.

Salad doesn't really suit Asian culture imo.

Altho it's a preferred replacement meal for girls who wanna keep fit, health freaks and those that are going on a diet.

why not adding the cost price of each veggie which is being included in the salad and then showing viewers on the cost price... and see from there if they wanna pay or not..

there are some questions about PRICE. so answer for you- please red my 1st post.
also about - it's not for malay - there are other cultures, and even some malay people like salads. but your answers tell me that no one of your friends and relatives like salads. and it is also some of results for my research.

time is unlimited. so i'm not late. and yes - i know about salad bars, salads delivery etc in nearest areas. i also did some research in this way. thanks for your reply. to be honest- everyone can make tasty food. but you need to want to do it as well. and any common food is 50% or even more -just spices. you do not eat boiled meat without spices and veggies. you do not eat non-cooked fish, chicken , etc. but you can eat veggies and fruits without cooking. so it's the answer what is really needed for our bodies.
but lets stop discussion about "damn tasty food" etc. more spices- more taste.
i didn't want to hurt some one. it's just my experience that i have. i was common person with common meals. and now i'm raw vegan and can tell you difference. but untill you will try it - you can't tell anything. as you do not know it.
thanks agan to every one

A concept of "don't like don't pay" or "pay as you like" is going to be disastrous here. Simply because even if they like they will choose to pay very little or not at all. A very cheapskate nature in the country which is common.

for most of people it is. but there also some honest people who will appreciate what did you do. as you did it with love and you spent your time to make salads for them. so they will save some time and feel what for did you do that. and as i said before - money for me is not a kind of thing you should wish for. i wish to be helpful for other people as i have unlimited time and full of ideas about social lifestyle, improvements etc.
but i'm here not only to haer somth from those people. mostly i'd like to have some results for my research. and it happens. nice

I think if you want to sell salads here in malaysia, you must make it flavourful. The sos or vinegrate must be sedap and ofcourse if you can encorporate cheaper local vegs to keep the price low even better. Difficult to find nice and affordable salads. Most tastes like grass only. I rather boil some bakchoy with chicken stock and eat with soysauce

there will be no salads on weekends this week as we stiil looking for better solution how to minimize cost of transportation for ingridients to make reasonable pricies

and we are still looking for your help with ridesharing/carpooling to some nearest markets . best way is still - #PasarBorong in Puchong. but it's too far and transport companies and all drivers - they ask too high price for transportation from #USJ to #Puchong and back.
so if you could help us with that- prieces for salads will be a bit cheaper. and we can make salads on weekends also . and we will start to deliver it in nearest areas - usj 17,13,12,11. later on we will try to expand areas.
but ofc you can find our salads iin V-Fresh Mart in #Taipan , No49 , #USJ10/1g, #USJ, #SubangJaya

here some picture for you ))) have a nice weekends

Tried salad diet 2 years ago to reduce my weight. It did worked, however its quite bad for the stomach really.

I had it for my dinner daily and before I went to sleep, my stomach already started growling. Forced myself to sleep and the next day, stomach feels totally empty. Breakfast is a must, but sometimes busy schedule makes u skipped. By the time its lunch, damage to my stomach would have been done.

Like some mentioned here, u need to include some meats like salmon or chicken slices but its gonna cost a bomb.

Good luck with ur venture anyway. I'm sure there are ppl out there who will enjoy and appreciate salad diet.

why so many people think that it is a diet- to eat slads?
yes, if you are weak with your healt - do not try to make fast changes. stomach as example. it's a very new food for it and it takes time to understand how to work with somth new.
for example you should ADD salads to your dinner. not replace usual meal with salads. and ofc salads are different. spices etc .
and what about to lose some weight - diets is the worst thing.
mostly you lose extra water that keeps in your body because of extra salt from common food as it contains TOO MUCH spieces and salt ofc. just to make food more tasty but not healthy. that's why fastest way to lose weight - aerobics etc. not a GYM . but fitness, cycling, yoga etc. only bodyweight exercises and mostly cardio. and ofc you should get swat a lot. as it is your extra water. but not too much . as water is your life))) just need balance
and DO NOT TRY to start running with your overweight . your knees will get a lot of damage.
best choise- to swim. also yoga and some activities that do not make your joints be damaged.
and ofc DO NOT TRY to change FAST. our bodies do not work well with too fast processes. ask professional sportsmen, bodybuilders etc. and llok at them at 40-50. and compare with yogas people for example.
i do not try to say- i know everything better than anyone else, but i eat only ( ONLY-nothing more... at all. even salt, sugar, tea etc) raw plant-based food for 4 years. and i start it in 1 day. still alive and full of energy, but too slim for common people who think that their 30-50% of extra water and fat is a normal. because medicine said about "it is normal"
i didn''t try to hurt anyone. it's just my experience and understanding of everything.
hope it could be helpful
and thanks for reply
ps. and now for me - salads is a common meal . no meat no spicies etc. only raw plants.
so result is - not a salad makes you feel bad. but your body so weak. - it's my opinion based on my own experience
for those who always says everything without understanding of the subject - some pics as a proof. just to avoid your talks.

ps. and now for me - salads is a common meal . no meat no spicies etc. only raw plants.
so result is - not a salad makes you feel bad. but your body so weak. - it's my opinion based on my own experience
for those who always says everything without understanding of the subject - some pics as a proof. just to avoid your talks.

Hey there,

Been following your posts last few days. I have been researching about raw vegan lifestyle since 2 years ago and I see a lot of people drop out of it. Since you have been a raw vegan for 4 years first off I would like to congratulate you on that because sticking to this lifestyle is actually difficult. A bit more about myself I have been practising being a vegan since earlier this year and I can already see the effects. I am not raw because I learnt that by going raw you may be not getting sufficient calories to sustain your lifestyle everyday. Benchmark calorie intake is minimum of 2500 calories everyday.

Since you have been eating salads as the main meal what do you have to say about your calorie intake? Are you getting enough calories for your body needs? You may look slim but it may be because you are starving yourself which leads to metabolic damage. Thats why I prefer a long slow and sustainable weight loss compared to quick results.

By the way, I am not hating you so please dont take it personally, just want to offer my opinions as well as getting feedback from you. Oh I would like to add that I am a fan of John Kohler, I believe he is the most honest raw vegan among the raw people out there.

Peace. icon_rolleyes.gif

thanks icehart85
first of all - salads is not a MAIN meal. it is COMMON meal.
about kalories - i dont care. proteins- dont care. you will get headache if will listen to every doctor or scientist. they all opposite ))) no only 1 answer.
so i decided to FEEL. not to think and listen. my body knows better than every doctor could know ... oh btw how SOMEONE else can know you better than yourself? impossible. but you should feel . not to think what others says.
it is ONLY my experience. i'm not going to tell you it's only way. but it works fine for me.
about "not enough nutritions etc" - don't care.
i can swim, i can run, i can cycle, i can ...... what is difference from other people? only "extreemly" slim body? - don't care. it's my life. and why should i listen to anyone? you do as you want. i will - as i want. but ofc i do not try to separate myself from others - i understood that it is impossible while i live in society.

and more about kalories- how could you compare burning somth in fire and your stomach? for me it is stupidest thing. your stomach doesnt burn anything inside. there is not even oxygen. so.... if you want to know more- learn not from doctors but froom books . i mean physiology. because doctors are workers. and they learnt how to earn with some medicine knowlege. not with somth true. and also science always tells opposite after time. because there are not enough knowlege about ourselves-humans. and all we know it's just a smal part of the beggining. that's why time to time you can hear oppositee things.
and for example - if doctors say you - when you sick you should include some fruits and vegs to be healthy. but after- stop it. and what? you will sick again ofc. but why to not eat only somthing that makes you healty? isn't it so simple ?)))
so if anyone wants to know more- just ask. i do not keep it in secret but it doesnt mean it will helps you. your body and MIND especially - are different from mine ones. but i'm sure it can halp you to analyze many things.

for moderators- i'm sorry that we going far from salads but food couldn't be separated from our health. because we are- what we eat, drink, breath, thinking.

and i really hope it doesnt hurt anyone .

PS - DO NOT TRY IT AT HOME . by yourself. it's deadly dangerous. like to drive a car without lessons.

is there any reasons or it's just uncommon food?
*
reason is simple
usually the "salad" isnt salad
usually the malaysian that like salad will make their own since it's cheaper but never make it coz tedious and never bother buying since they think it's cheaper and the cycle continues.

p.s. i require meat

yep. but i do select only fresh grocery, and believe me i do it better than others do it, as i'm raw vegan and i eat raw plants not just time by time in a small plate... i eat it almost every day. for last 4+ years.
and about salads - it also takes time to go and buy ingridients, select it carefully, wash, slice and mix. and it takes time again.
so if you want to make salad by yourself- go on. but there are also people who do not have time to do it . or they want to do somthing else. that's why there are a lot of eateries. as many people do not like to cook at home or so busy for that or just want to free some time for other things they want to do
so i use my time to give you opportunity to have healthy food. and it is not just a marketing thing. if you do not need it - it's your choice. i'm here for those who need it.
i hope it's clear now.

due to insufficient funding and experience and my personal income problems (it's Yury) , SubangSalad has been closed. we will try to open it again some day. thanks for our customers and every one who was interested.
A BIG thanks to owners of V-Fresh Mart - Aisheen and Jeffrey - they have provided us to sell salads there.

if some one would like to continue SubangSalad - we will provide you all information needed. our experience etc. as we also did it as "business giveaway" - a part of our social concept.
ofc you are free to make your own salads.
so - you will have a place to sell your salads (just arrange everything with V-Fresh Mart owners, i'm sure they will help you)
you ill have some discounts to buy ingridients for your salads at V-Fresh Mart
we will provide you our experience and any information we have about SubangSalad from the idea to sales.
reciepies , ideas , some packages etc will be just given to you for free.
fb page will be given to you

do not be afraid of trying if you really want it. no start - no result. even if you will understand it's not yours - doesn't matter. you have tried somth new .

best regards
Yury
