Your call Mr. Looi. In terms of past performance, Sharpe ratio and annualised volatility, AmBRIC kalah teruk compared to RHB OSK China India Fund. AmBRIC only outperformed RHB CIF this year.

RHB CIF is currently bleeding while AmBRIC is on an upward trend. The only advantage of AmBRIC is that it has a heavy exposure to Russia at 24.20%.

I am going to invest in AmBRIC. As usual, I will restrict it to not more than 5% of my portfolio with a short term to mid-term holding view.

P/S:  For even more excitement, you may consider investing in FSM Singapore. They have a 100% Russian equity fund.  biggrin.gif

I've also a small holding in Russia (just under 5% of portfolio, not through FSM) definitely a volatile one!

Lol i just want to clarify something. .lets say i invest rm 1k in fund a and after a month  it went up to 1.1k (just hypothetical )..must i sell fund and buy again myself to start with 1k or will fsm manage the fund for me?? As in i withdraw all 1.1k and reinvest 1.1k so can grow more, or just leave it and let fsm do that?? Coz got service charge summore

Inknow this is a noob question but over the past 1 year i dont see any major change in  the amount i invested.

This question doesn't make any sense to me

Just leave it there, the value will increase or decrease and dividends reinvested, you only need to sell if you're cashing out or switching to a different fund
