Hmm, oh, so most of the time, you were just reading those FSM materials? Do you mean those tutorials which FSM specially made for beginners or the articles that FSM always send to its app users?

Do you think the FSM tutorials are enough to understand the big picture"?  hmm.gif

Read everything in "Getting Started" and "FAQ", and you'll do fine.

And maybe Post #1 of this thread too

Don't need to understand too deeply on the technical stuff...

CIMB-Principle Global Titan Fund will be the star performer in this list.

Aberdeem Islamic World Equity Fund seems low performing based on history result so I wonder how you could achieve 31.6% from it.

Yeah....

India is too unpredictable hence risk to reward is not favourable anymore.

China, although the volatility is present and accounted for, the reward still outweighs the risk. BTW my CIO also thinks China > India.

If you have an aggressive appetite, then a 80:20 China:Bond; if not then lower the China % while increasing the bond %.

Xuzen

p/s My CIO also said to put Eurozone in your radar, watch out for the QE effect kicking in. Unfortunately, the numbers still do not excite my Algozen™ and she still ask me to go China.

Investment got 2 types of return:
(1) Income (dividends, interest incomes)
(2) Equity/Capital/Price (from price appreciation)

To give a layman example

If I launch a fund with INCOME as primary objective, I will manage the fund trying to maximise income returns. But if later the price of the underlying stocks lose money, u don't come after me tongue.gif

If I say I aim for TOTAL RETURN, I try to achieve/strike a balance of both of the above wink.gif
