If everything also put there...might as well export whole FSM website here! shakehead.gif

There are 3 different limit settings there.

1. 3rd party fund transfer. ( Maybank a/c to another 3rd party Maybank a/c ).
2. Interbank Giro.
3. Interbank instant transfer.

Is the fpx transfer limit affected by those settings ? Should be independent I think.

For HLB, FPX is under "Online Bill Payment"

U don't need to micro-monitor/review your UTs doh.gif

Buy in, leave it yawn.gif

If u need to/can micro-monitor like that...might as well buy shares or even better, run your own company? tongue.gif

thanks for the suggestion

i didn't go into details

For me, i look for funds that consistently give > 7% every year (not average over 5 years or so, but every year positive)

so i pull the data from FSM, recalculate the numbers to give me what i need

and select funds based on that criteria

Sifu sekalian,

I'm planning a unit trust allocation for my mum & bro joint acc. I got her to withdraw her underperforming hong leong unit trusts and I'll help her manage on FSM

                                                                Planned %
CIMB-Principal Asia Pacific Dynamic Income Fund  30
CIMB-Principal Global Titans Fund                  15
Kenanga Growth Fund                                          15
RHB-OSK Asian Total Return Fund                  20
RHB-OSK Cash Management Fund 2                    -
RHB-OSK Islamic Bond Fund                          20

As a retiree, I thought 60 EQ: 40FI is okay for her since she has a bit of FDs too. Previously it was 95% EQ  tongue.gif

What say you? The intention is to leave it there and probably take 8% out as annual bonus. Is 8% absolute return realistic with such portfolio? I'm not keen with India & China focus type of funds
*
Maybe I'm conservative

But I think 6% (matching EPF dividend) is more realistic wink.gif

Online is always cheaper. I read in eunittrust, it seems they have promotion or something. Many funds are 0% charge if purchase above 10k. Just wonder why eunittrust is so quiet.

The website and research/customer service not as good as FSM

i went in through public mutual about 7 years back.

i felt that my agent did not give extra service (updates on fund, switching advices, new funds for diversification etc) , sold my units back then and wanted to buy a house.
instead, changed of plans and put in tabung haji for few years

last year felt wanted to continue back investing, picked FSM as online platform, and for the 2% salescharge.

mutual fund knowledge.. through reading here-lah biggrin.gif

I'm from engineering background, was not interested at all about economic news etc.. now felt that i should've taken economics instead. quite interesting  nod.gif

Yeah i know right! I felt that even tho FSM has relativity better rates, I dont really prefer it (to start my UT investment in it) because I am still new and I prefer to have a "physical/ face to face" person sitting next to me guiding me through the process. I guess i will most probably join FSM after i know whats happening and the market practice of UT.
*
Errr...

Listen to me...

LISTEN TO ME...

FSM has very good Customer Service to help u with general and transaction matters...
and u can talk to their Client Investment Specialist (by phone or e-mail) for investment ideas...

Their assistance, beat bank officers' hands down...and some agents' service too...
