My 2 cents worth....there is no right time to buy KGF because market timing is impossible. I assume this fund will form part of your core portfolio. This means you will keep it for more than 2 years. Therefore it does not matter whether the price rise or fall temporarily.

Presently KGF has fallen 1.66% in one week. FSM is offering a 1% sales charge for KGF for this month. This means for every RM10K you invest, you are in fact getting a "discount" of RM266.00.

Is this discount enough for you or are you waiting for more? Can you time the market?

NEW DELHI (REUTERS) - India's lower house of parliament on Wednesday passed a bill that seeks to transform the country into a common market, harmonising state and central levies into a national sales tax which is expected to boost manufacturing.
Jaitley has called the goods and services tax (GST) the biggest reform since independence in 1947 that could add as much as 2 percentage points to the growth of Asia's third-largest economy.

Just now, I just switched from AmBon Islam into AMBRIC, topped up AmPrecious Metals, RHB Asian Total Return Fund and EISC.

Now have to start praying. 

This is called itchy backside syndrome. When my portfolio was doing OK and before the China market rallied, I thought I wanted some excitement in my portfolio. 

So I bought into AmPrecious Metals. First time buy in, after 1 month, I made about RM1k plus. So I thought I was the champion. So, second time buy in again. Now, I am trapped already.  I will get out from AmPrecious Metals soon once I break even. 

So, to cut a long story short......No, you did not miss anything. Don't touch anything with the name Precious Metals or Commodities in it.
