I can't think of a better time to invest than now when the market is volatile.

Will there be one last rally for China this year as predicted by some pundits? Some say that all the doom and gloom about the China market is spear headed by the Western media.

So who do we believe at the end of the day?

For long term investors, it does not really matter. This is because we will still be invested 6 months from now, 1 year from now or even 3 years from now. The only difference is our asset allocation by then.

Most likely distribution...see previous trend

Yes, confirmed that the NAV for AMB Income Trust Fund dropped because of income distribution.

See http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/fundi...nouncement.svdo

It nearly gave me a heart attack yesterday. Suddenly my AMB Income Trust Fund dropped 2.82% in one day. It was the "worst" performing fund in my portfolio, beating even my China linked funds.

My portfolio showed 2 negatives:

Am Commodities Eq -7.57%
Am Precious metal -6.1%

Fed up i top up 5k each for them today.
Question is if they go further south, should i top up more?
Thanks for anyone care to comment.

My 2 cents view....you can consider using Value Averaging for the next 3 to 6 months for these 2 funds. If they are still negative, maybe it's time for you to cut your losses and move on. The redemption sum can be better utilised to buy in other better funds.

That was what I did with my Am Precious Metals. We can't win them all.

Good reading. Some of the tips highlighted are...

QUOTE
{ 13 }  If you’ve grand plan of trading penny stocks, do yourself a favour – just light your money on fire. Same for leveraged ETFs and perhaps Malaysian Unit Trust. Watch “The Wolf of Wall Street” and you will understand why this is so.
My comment : blink.gif So we should all stop investing in FSM?

QUOTE
{ 26 }  If you have credit card debt and are thinking about investing in anything, stop and think again. You will never beat 18% to 36% annual interest, some on daily or monthly compounding.

My comment : I agree 100%.
