Conversion WMV TO MPG conversion, unsync in audio

hello..
I used a couple of video conversion programs like TMPgenc, AVS, Canopus & WinAVI for my conversion from WMV to VCD mpeg but they all give me the problems of video/audio unsync. This happen not only to 1 single wmv type but numerous other file of wmv format. Is there anyone here who knows the proper way to convert a wmv file to mpeg without unsync problems? |

I use AVsynth + Virtual Dub. But if the problem persist, it might be bad encoding in the WMV file

i see.. so u actually run the wmv through AVsynth before
converting in VirtualDub? |

well, you make a new file name 'anything'.avs. open it and put in
DirectShowSource("name of teh file",fps=how many fps) save open virtual dub drag the avs in virtual dub now you can edit it. |
