nah they changed it....u need to have riding skill 150 to ride those lvl 60 epic mount..so u need to buy the riding skill 150 that cost 720g currently

or you can go get AV mount. only 720g iirc. doesn't require riding skill.

Yeah, AV mount needs 150 riding skill. So it's 720g (riding skill) + 8g (mount) all together.

Of course rank 11 mount no need riding skill lol Just get a 8g one and you're set for life.

So much misinformation, where to start...

You don't get riding skill 150 at rank 11. The mount you can buy at rank 11 simply doesn't require a skill of 150. All you need is the 75 skill riding skill which cost around 80g(?). This skill can be acquired at lvl 40.

The AV mount used to be 680g. It is now 8g. However it requires 150 skill to ride, which means late comers got screwed. Before the mount rule changes, 680g would buy you a mount you can use. Now you need 720g + 8g to get the AV mount, unless you already have the 150 skill.

And whats this abot AV mount not requiring mount skill, rank 11 requiring mount skill... If you meant mount skill as the generic skill everyone used to have (the one you learned at lvl 40) then both required it. The difference now is that AV need 150.

Keep in mind all this is calculated with at least a rep of 'honored' with whatever faction you're buying the mount from.

AV mount never did require any sort of riding skill to ride it before the new mechanics were implemented.

the old riding skills were tied to their mounts.
eg. raptor riding for raptors
kodo riding for kodos

you did not need to learn wolf/ram riding to ride the AV mount. i know, i've got a friend whos a troll and bought AV mount way before new mechanics came into place.

and rank 11 mounts needed the specific riding skill in order to ride that animal. i know because i've reached rank 11 in the old system.

There was no skill tied to AV mount, yes. My bad I forgot >.> But if you bought it early on, you got free 150 skill in the patch. Its a much cheaper way to get the mount skill. I should have worded it clearly but meh.

As for Abony posting his riding skill screenshot... um, dude... I take it you're trying to imply that you recieve a free 150 riding skill when you hit rank 11. Posting that screenshot proves what? You don't get a free riding skill at rank 11, or else the rank 11 mounts won't only require 75 riding skill.

i reach rank 11 after the patch so i wont get 150 riding for free but for those who has epic mount before the patch they will get 150 riding skill for free after the patch..

as for abony he must be rank 11 before that patch that is y he has 150riding skill after the patch for free
