For those who 'subscribed' to the iptv package with this Xiomi, how do you find the streaming? Are you happy with it? Are there subtitles in English or perhaps Malay?

Seriously considering to get one, but I'm worried about the performance of the iptv.

That's the only app available to control your mibox other than your remote
Is your mibox mini already rooted? There should be no problem with video playback with h/w enabled once rooted

Yup I have rooted the box

Do you mean the one with Astroxx packages? Subtitles are available alrite
Any android device can run the iptv app, basically just depends on your broadband speed.

Did you have stuttering issues in previous version of Kodi?
Also, what's the format for the videos with stuttering issues? Are they mkv files with high bitrates around >4gb?
Seems like this guy has no problem with 1080p, although he didn't exactly mention the 1080p source (could be yify rips)

Kinda interested to get one because of the small form factor.

Planning to buy the 3rd gen Mi box as price is quite reasonable. However just found out another andriod tv box - turbo box with free IPTV for life. Very tempted but Turbo Box is something new to me. Anyone tried that before ? Are all channels stable and accessible via Mi Box ? I am thinking to replace astro and hyppty if the channels are the same. Anyone can advise on this, thanks.

I personally had subscribed to the app called HDTV. It is very reliable and smooth running on my Mibox3. biggrin.gif

Mibox 3 is more reliable compare to the Turbo Box. You can subscribe to the app called HDTV which is more stable and can watch the Astrox Channels. Save some money for you. smile.gif

Hi guys,

My Dad r english movie n football channel fans , mom r korea drama fans , but the tv channel pictures is not clear , so Plan to get one Mibox for my parents .

Had no idea what this Mibox how to use and what can do, hope you guys can help me out.

Ok , First my home internet speed : Maxis Fiber 10mbps

Q1. Which version to get is better and easy? Cracked or Original ?

Q2. I have go thru the comment above , realize you guys r using some apps call " xbmc" and "Kodi" . is this two apps , just install into Mibox and directly can use to surf movies or i have go thru some setting by myself?

Q3. Does have big issue with using Mibox load movie or drama with WiFi connection ?will effect the buffing speed ? Or recommend using LAN to connect with my modem ? Because there's a distance between TV and Modem (around 100cm)

Q4. Cracked version Mibox is using VPN connect to China and other country to load their Drama n movies right ? From what i know VPN has no free to use, but the seller told me the VPN install into their Mibox is can use for forever. Is this possible ?

Hope anyone can answer me these question, because the place I live there's no nearby shop is selling Mibox , so I only can get it from online seller. Afraid they r not doing after sales service.

Thank you

currently mi tv2 user.think the way it run same as mibox.
1.using maxis fiber 10mps,no problem.
better get a crack version as save worry about download apps, get english surface.

2.xbmc=kodi(new name) you need to do more than just install,add-on,add source.check it out from here.
https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3139601

3.confirm lan better than using wifi.it will be lag if sharing too many device.

4.mostly the vpn they download for you is those free vpn from apps shop.free vpn always unstable, some time it works, some time it dont.but free, cant expect much.if want stable vpn need go for pay vpn.can try this.got free trial
