I'm also looking at alarm systems... saw the new product by Sharp, surveillance basic kit (RM1,500) and alarm kit (RM999). Anyone tried it? The plus side I see is that no need to pay monthly fee and I can monitor from anyone. But quite expensive if want to add more camera and window sensons etc.
