I guess it's inevitable but I always thought it's damn ironic for cloners to be cloning China's own brand...lol  biggrin.gif

As far as to my knowledge from my queries, I can confirm that there is no temperature control feature on the clone. The clone uses a YIHI chip but not the 350J chip.

Just a quick update, we are planning to do a group buy for the infamous Cthulhu RTA which is known to be an improved RTA over the (non-related) UD Goblin RTA. Please take note that this is a separate group buy order and does not run concurrently with the existing one. The expected date of stock availability is 8/9 May 2015 so hopefully we can get enough numbers to meet the MOQ of a mere 10 units tongue.gif
Expected price is to be at RM110.00 (not including postage with option for pick-up)

...began to taste a few hit on my throat. Just been a week with 3 refills.

Took a look at the occ frm outside..looked fine,
[attachmentid=4440896]
Took the cotten out....looks like burnt...or this is still normal ?  Occ wears out so fast!
[attachmentid=4440898]
Washed the tank....waiting to test Anna & Jane !
[attachmentid=4440902]

Now i know i need another tank in standby  sad.gif
*
It's actually quite easy to see if your cotton is burnt or not, if you can't eye it you can just soak it in water and give it a rub. Liquid gunk will usually come off leaving behind the black burnt stains. This is what I usually do to identify the problem with my wicking (I usually snap a pic before I wick it with juice #notnormal)

anyway i also bought sirap bandung lol
*
You know, you could always go to www.steam-engine.org to calculate the wraps to achieve your target resistance. But I would highly highly (and let me stress that again, HIGHLY) recommend you read up on battery safety prior to sub-ohm building. This is not the best video to learn from but it covers quite a bit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3h0ta-L_zc

As vaping becomes more popular, the fear is that not many pays attention to safety. Going super low ohm without even considering if their battery can handle such load or not, using different brand battery on a single mod, using device as pass-thru even though it can't, using recycled battery dismantled from a power bank, vaping at non smoking places (more like etiquette rather than safety) etc

Come on guys, you're sticking that thing close to your face. Have a thought about safety.

I feel we are a few disaster away from vaping becoming headline in the local news.
*
One can only do so much but some contribution is better than no contribution since this is a community. It only takes one terrible event to affect vaping altogether and like they said, it takes one rotten apple to ruin the whole basket (or rather one burnt hit to ruin the whole evening lol)

What's the different between v3c n v4s chip?
*
Good on ya for spotting that! The Yihi SX330V3C is the initial firmware that was launched during the first batch of products that were shipped out.

The SX330V4S is a different chip that provides the ability to upgrade firmware thereby offering temperature control for Ni200 as well as Joule mode. The firmware can be updated via USB. Either way as far as we know new batches of the IPV4 are updated to the latest chip and firmware before being shipped however we will try an obtain a confirmation in regards to that smile.gif

i also wanna ask noob question...

just now trying to recoil for 1st time.... everything ok then suddenly i got burn taste after 2 3 puff... then i notice my coil kaki menyala...

why? help.......
*
"Hot legs - basically where a part of your coil is heating up to red hot without vaporizing any liquid to cool it off. Tastes like burnt metal. To help avoid this do a couple things:
1. Space your wraps so they heat evenly (i.e. heating for center and disperse to the sides).
2. Reduce the length of your "legs".

Basically the less wire hanging around unwicked the better. Unwicked wire tends to heat up faster than wire that's got liquid to cool it leading to hot spots."

Boss u more might wanna fix the description for ipv4. USB is for firmware upgrade not charging. And 9v charging cable not included I think. Coz many seller giving wrong information that mini USB is for charging
*
My mistake there. That's what I get when I slap on the specs provided by the supplier. The USB is indeed for firmware upgrades and direct charging is not recommended at all.

Regardless I would still pursue this group buy and get a confirmation on the options and the delivery date smile.gif

For now it's without and the pricing will definitely change if it's with smile.gif

QUOTE(silentser @ May 12 2015, 06:19 PM)
the price is not bad including the 2 batteries (one which may cost RM30-RM40) it almost the same price as the group buy
*
To be honest I think that's a pretty good deal and I'm sure he will sell it separately meaning mod only and it might just arrive at the same price.

QUOTE(treblecase @ May 12 2015, 06:41 PM)
But I'm just wondering, why in a short period the price of this IPv4 dropped tremendously. It retailed at 380 to 400 initially & now it's below 300 already.  hmm.gif
*
There are a lot of factors in play here. Take this group buy for example, since we are not placing a huge order (for example below 10 units and above 50-100 units - price will differ significantly) and including shipping charges and what not, that is one of the best price that can be provided with these few units. On the other hand if you look at an online retailer or B&M who stocks up on products and sell them, they will definitely: (1) order in bulk which will then (2) be offered lower price per unit and lastly (3) save on shipping and other charges. In terms of higher and perhaps assumed-ridiculous mark-up on the items, there is a MRSP (manufacturer recommended sales pricing) which means that they are not allowed to sell below the recommended pricing. With that being said, you would also have people who will mark it up ridiculously to the less-informed buyers.

We will always try and source for the most suitable pricing however if there is a better alternative available locally we would always direct you to that vendor smile.gif

That's the problem with vaping products, there will always be an alternative either newer or improved. Lookout for this product by CLDMKR (Cloud Maker)'s Whiteout. It is supposedly a box mod that can be customized and DIY'ed and also supposedly puts an end to the need to purchase newer mods.

Edit: Added more eye-candy. It comes in 2 options; one with their own Ares chip and another the SX330J chip and they expect it to be priced around USD200 or so.

yours FOB or DAP/DDP to here ?
very cheap la

unless you go there buy, then seller here goyang kaki marked up price je since Shenzhen already settle to send shipment

cost incurred during duty at kastam clearance.
that is why seller take this opportunity to cover up the tax they paid *if they pay la (mostly distributor already charged it)
transportation to Port Klang (Northport/Westport) if from Klang Valley also already cost some amount

not all seller rajin to do that, hence i think most will just buy with distributor at hefty price then add their own margin
supposedly up by 20% at least

atas 30% haram katanya  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Yup totally agreeable and that is indeed a great deal! I reckon that'll be FOB price but again, that is still a very low price.
