cheap amps vs expensive amps is just like cheap psu vs expensive psu

cheap amps are usually lighter than expensive amps

sound wise is hard to tell if both are capable of producing the same quality output... but expensive amps usually have better durability since they have better components.

it's like iCute psu vs Silverstone psu... think about it.

cheap amp...sound quality is terrible...for bass purpose it is ok but for vocal....obsolutely no

expansive amp... depends...sometime the price has been mark up by the shop heavily...so must survey before buying it

Why don't we compile a list of CAP Ayam and proper Branded amps for general reference?

cheap amps will sound terrible if they were not able to produce the right power output at a certain volume level.... which is 80% of the time is true. however there are some people who do not blast their speakers all the time so quality wise is hard to say at lower volumes.

I guess cheap amps are only for beginners perhaps? People like me couldn't really differentiate quality sounds and average sounds. As I just enter ICE world, still need time before I could tell what makes good sound.

So far my 'cheap' amp (Oxygen) produces good bass for my subwoofer ler

Component set meaning the entire speaker system right? Then maybe the "chap ayam" can be a bit underpowered...

My Brothers' amp is currently connected to just my rear speakers... So far its doing well, maybe because the unit is just being used to power one item... As for woofer, its obviously better to go for the more high-end amps, for the sound quality right?

Definitely you cannot be serious about cheap amps being lighter than expensive amps.

There are so many china and korean made amps that are purposely made heavy to impress the gullible audience. However, in actual fact the heavy plate or chassis is not an indication of the quality of the components used and sound quality of the amplifier.

I do however agree with you that expensive amp are mostly made more durable and robust.
