I just ported to celcom postpaid rm38 for 3gb from my current maxis line suftmore50. Now just wait for the activation. Hopefully its worth it,first time use celcom. 

Nope, puchong utama area. Already checked the coverage map for type connections in my area and apparently 4g here very poor as it says. My maxis can get all time 4g here but its not really a big deal. 3g also good enough for me so im on the celcom plan for sure Will do a speedtest and report back once its active 

alright my celcom finally got activated. Very happy with the signal bars. Before on maxis always 1-2 bars only,now i can easily get at least 3 to full bars on celcom 
And as expected,they hardly cover my area with 4g yet. Hspa/3g works fine
heres the speedtest. No idea why the server keep saying Kuching even though i re-test a few times. I live in Puchong and its not even close to Kuching 


also want to ask, i have 3gb data + 3gb wifi with this plan. What does the wifi means? Means i can still use internet even though i dont on the data? lol.

You can either use as much as you could before mnp.
If i were you,il give away the remaining balance to my family members who use maxis

Then again i thought you're used to 5gb usage? But if you really ran out of 3gb, can always get booster at additional rm10 and im sure you still pay lower cost than the surfmore75 plan monthly 

Google block third party app from modifying external sd card got couple of option

1. Use samsung own official "MyFiles" I think that one can create folder
2. Use ur computer plug usb and go to ur phone create
3. Root ur phone and allow modify sd card...I recommend this as this solve all the headache

But I thought lolipop allow apps to modify content on sd card. Correct me if i'm wrong?

I don't use that much data also. Mostly check emails and browsing sites only. Don't really like watching videos in the public and if watch inside car, i would start feeling sick like want to vomit

Oh that's great that you got it solved    Yepp,they will give you a new simcard upon registration. Since you're porting from prepaid user, the process should be faster 

hahah i knew this 38 plan must be lacking something    If its true that they cap the 4g speed for this cheapo plan then it means they already predicted many would jump ship once the plan is out and they don't want to rugi much
3g is good enough for me and im glad this plan isn't contracted. If anything, can just jump ship again

I am on Celcom postpaid and 10-20 + Mbps is common for me at my place. I hit these download speeds on all my ex n current LTE phones

haha, thats why, for myself, as in my own personal phone, I will go on with note series. For three generations(note2,3,4) it has not dissapointed m, so no reason to change, although Im really tempted by huawei these days. The mate 7 is seriously awesome but I didnt dare purchase it as im still wary of all these chinese brand. Lets see how its successor fares
