I have check official samsung web..sammobile...but the latest firmware stated overthere is still BOC3..how do you guys get the latest BOE1 firmware? mind to share?

did you use the same auto root file on odin when re-rooting it again on B0E1?

also mind to share the benefits of custom rom like the twrp recovery that you use?

The main reason i wanted to root is to remove the annoying bloatware apps and more access to phone system. I can do that with just rooted stock rom and use titanium backup to remove unwanted apps. So i'm curious to know about the custom rom that you're using. Besides the UI interface etc,what can you mainly do with it? has to do with xposed eh?

o and i thought the twrp recovery is a custom rom. Didn't know that they are different lol. 

any good note 4 tampered glass can recommend?

I just flash BOE1 XME Rom just now. Waze is fix hooray !!!

Just noticed that LTE is gone. Last time i am in Poland ROM got LTE sign on the notification bar.

Now back to XME Msia only got 4G sign.

The new BOE1 firmware is giving me an awesome battery life. Whatsapp, wechat, facebook, twitter, Instagram and watching lots of videos.

Those who have unrooted their N4 to BOE1, able to OTA the latest today's update? I checked my device software update and it says that it is already the latest. I'm planning to root my phone again after the latest OTA update.

I think OTA should be functional now since my device status = official (changed from custom when I unrooted with superSU previously)

It's a good thing after flashing my N4 (BOC1) to BOE1, all my previous apps remains intact and there's no need to factory reset or clear cache although I have prepared the titanium backup just in case. Now confirmed that Waze is fully functional.

Those who wants to unroot their N4 can get the XME (Malaysian version) BOE1 (Exynos) here:

Sammobile is a little behind in their firmware updates. If you have not yet flash your N4 to BOE1, better you wait a few more days for the Malaysian version of the BOE2 which I think will include today's latest update.

Yeah. Wanna know my secrete? This is what i did;

1. Factory reset and flash BOE1 then calibrated battery using Battery Calibration app
2. No backup retrieved. I just manually installed all my apps one by one
3. Rooted and running Servicely, AIO Toolbox Pro and Root Booster (choose Extreme battery saving mode)
4. After my phone went below 50% I turned on the default power saving mode
5. Most of my activities involved watching tv series, whatsapp, wechat, facebook, twitter and Instagram. No games played

It's been more than 24hours and nobody could answer me.

Yep i also started to use servicely to replace Greenify pro. I'm kinda annoyed by greenify pop ups telling you that it hibernated the apps everytime and the fact that it uses 82mb in the background. I want light app that could do the job efficiently in silent. Will be observing this servicely

Yeah!! abandoned Greenify long time ago in a favor of servicely. So far so good. Just need to be careful which app and process that you dont need to kill in the background. For example, when i tried to include the google service framework and s planner for the hit list, then suddenly the default weather app stops updating.

anyone here having problem with their camera on note 4?

this is what i got lately, when i opened up the camera app, the focus is not functioning well as it is, and there's some focusing noise on the camera there, you can hear the camera trying so hard to get in focus, only way to get it to focus properly is to exit the camera app and reopen it, this problem has started around 1 month ago, not every time, but the chances of occurring is quite high.     

i dont use the disable service yet since i already froze most of the bloatware apps with titanium

I use servicely hitlist to kill running apps in background the same function as greenify it just that greenify uses the word hibernate so i wouldn't recommend using servicely and greenify together

but the spec almost same.. maybe most apps still not optimizing for 64bit?

hmm.. I still value latest update n various custom rom to flash more.. but maybe I'm getting old.. tired of flasing.. note4 got fingerprint sensor for unlocking like s6 right? got doubletap2wake?
any source about snapdragon805 on note4 better than nexus6?

Flashed the Poland L5 latest rom - now Waze is back to normal (was using L5 UAE)
Of course it's even snappier.

yeah im thinking to flash from BOE1 to BOE3 as well and re-root.

Flashing for me is actually quite fun, seeing the codes running down smoothly Those coders/programmers are truly amazing. I would have gone    if i learn how to code.

i have the same problem as well...the focus just keep on jumping when start the camera..
but the problem happen intermittent on my phone...

No double tap to wake really a downsite.. is there any other way to wake phone up without pressing any button? Worry the button spoil..

  out of curiosity i tested the new firmware (BOE3 Poland)  on Antutu and this is the first time i scored 50k+ on note 4



on previous BOE1 BOC5,i only managed to score over 43k+.

Jus siutched to celcom. Full bars w 4g at my home n market. Prevsly w maxis hardly get any 4g w full 4 bars

This some of things I need to learn first, if the warranty void, need to use TriangleAway thingy or etc.. still long way to go.. I won't root without knowing the risks.

if not mistaken, the finger print scanner hardware of Note 4 can only work while sliding ur finger on it

Prolly need to wait next year for N4. 

i think note 4 fingerprint scanner is hardware..not software..so..it cant be like s6...or else..someone would already implement the fix..
