These xiaomi devices are zigbee devices, some even can integrate to smartthings, I'm getting the humidity sensor to monitor my drybox is working properly or not

Not really, most devices are zigbee devices, some of that are WiFi

It's better to buy better brand because you still need their cloud service. If their cloud is always down, your thing won't work

Btw these type of things will never be 100% reliable. You just got to use it for non-critical task

like i said it will never be. internet can be down anytime.
you are not going to use your smart plug to turn on some life saving incubator or whatnots....so dont worry about it

it should be a tint. the cable is hidden. so theoretically this should be cheaper then replacing a whole glass.

one is a film like tint film. end users can install this on their own
the other one must be sandwich between two pieces of glass like laminated glass
this one must be done at their factory

anyway, this thing is good for privacy but it doesnt totally black out the Sun. It will be like frosted glass, and our strong sunlight can still get through.
I feel its not really suitable for our climate unless you dont get any direct sunlight

Received the sonoff unit last week. Weekend got some time. So change the old timer to sonoff for the car posh lighting.

So far so good. Try on/off from far away and around the house. No problem. And now put on timer for everyday on/off.

The unit will be throw ontop the ceiling. It will be subject to hot temperature, humid and dust. See how tough can it stand.



* Today will do some testing. This morning OFF the main. So the sonoff no power. Later late evening, will OFF the network, ON back the main power to sonoff after the timer ON schedule. See it can function without the network and test it memory location.

It is not bulky. The size is about same as hager timer or smaller.

But the shape and the design is not suit to the DB. Hence, not DB friendly. Hager timer is design suit according to DB.

You still can put into the DB. But it doesn't look nice and be prepare to take out some space.

So far no local sell this. Just get it online. It take 2weeks to arrive. Not difficult and cheaper too.

I think its not suitable for DB. One thing the DB wires are too thick to enter the Sonoff terminal block which to me is the most "weakest" in the whole device

actually what are you trying to do?
from DB it can go to certain lights and maybe even some power plugs. You cannot really control exactly what you want unless so ngam your house DB control those things that you wanted

enrique, you need the DB range for the timer located in the DB.
currently i am using hagar EH011 for my DB.
