xiaomi smart switch (without neutral) is giving me problem too. just burnt out for no reason and also caused my LED lights to flicker. have been hearing lots of complain on the non-neutral smart switch.
*
Just went through Xiaomi forum.
This seems to be a known issues caused by inferior resistors (only non-neutral version) for a few users in year 2017.
And Aqara claimed that they had changed the supplier.

When did you buy your switch?
Or do you know its manufacturing date?

I actually have 1 of such switch installed in my room few months ago.
Starting to get worried.

Is there any 20A 2P wall smart wifi switch available in the market now?

I have Joven JH50 50L Horizontal Storage water heater installed above the ceiling at my house. The 20A 2P neon switch currently located at my master bedroom upstairs . And the prob arises while I am at downstairs and need to turn on that switch, I have to go upstairs and manually turn it on. Would it be nice if I can have wirelessly turn it on with my phone.

Thanks!

Your storage heater is mounted in 20A switch doesn't mean you need a 20A smart switch.
AFAIK, it peaks at 3kW.
A 16A sonoff Pow R2 or Aqara Aircon companion may work.

As a matter of safety, personally I don't have confident to put high power appliance on these devices.

Good info, I may get from them.

I bought 1 from taobao but not xiaomi

How much did you pay for the shipping?
In my opinion, the track length is hindering me from purchasing oversea due to the shipping cost and handling reliability.

Hi bro, your ultraloq still ok?
I’m thinking of getting one since my yale lock got some problems.
*
Sorry that I missed this question from you.
I just saw @blancpain4470 posted U-Bolt pro then only realized your question few months ago.

FYI, I have been using UltraLoq UL1, AutoBolt and Bridge for since June 2018.
The status:

UL1:
* Still working but the lever is shaky.
I dismantled it and found it's not because of loosen screw..
Likely a mechanical design flaw and no clue to fix it.
* The fingerprint sensor requires few trials to get it through.
* Out of battery 3 times without early signal. dry.gif
Otherwise, it is still usable now.

AutoBolt:
* Motor spoiled after few months.
Claimed for a replacement unit from US.
Working till now.
* Out of battery 2 times.

Bridge:
* Blew up one unit.
* Got a replacement unit and spoiled within a year. No plan to get another one.

I have another Korean's digital lock at home.
As a comparison, Ultraloq must be handled with care.
I'm going to buy new digital locks for my new house and Ultraloq is out of my consideration.

Better late than never i guess. So far so good for me
And the fingerprint sensor detection is i’d say is quite excellent. It’s probably an improvement over the older model

How did your bridge blew up again?
*
The second one didn't blow, just died miserably.

My first one is really "blowing". The casing dropped out and dark burnt mark on chip.
For my 2nd unit, Ultraloq said they didn't fix anything on hardware but merely some software tweaks.

The bridge is only for connectivity to wifi right?

Saw the Ultraloq UL300 yesterday at home expo (selling at RM2980, including the bridge, not sure if they've improved anything), the sellers seems to recommend this over the other brands and model, cant find much reviews online =/, was considering Samsung SHP-DP609
*
Yes, the bridge is for wifi connection.
With it, you can control the lock even if bluetooth is out of range.
Also, Alexa and GA require it to work.
I tried GA integration but it's pretty useless.
Never tried Alexa.

UL300 is smilar to UL3.
IMO, the optical fingeprint sensor is not that good.
And I have a phobia about the lock quality.

Samsung DP609 may be OK but I have never used it before.
Only that I heard it is WiFi lock which may drain battery faster than others.
Also, the striker plate is incompatible with many doors in Malaysia.
A good installer is needed.

not so straight forward as my windows is 1.5m the All-in-1 solution min is 1.7m
*
I'm using aqara curtain with track since last year.
It cost about RM650 for motor with 3.5m track from lazada seller.
The track length is customizable.

I see. maybe can use smart roller blind. but so far as i know only aqara has it and it cost Rm 400++ and is ship from china
*
I'm also using such blind from aqara now.
Directly ordered from taobao for 2ft x 11ft size with "shangri-la" blind.
All-in cost is about RM450 for motor + blind.

Integrated with home assistant.
All of these have been running since Apr 2020.
So far so good.

Can share the links for this? I'm having the Aqara motor (just the motor), but doesn't have right roller blind and adapter. It need 50mm size roller?
*
Mine is inclusive or both aqara motor and roller blind.
I’m not sure if they can supply the casing and blind only.

Talking about curtain... What about roller blind? Whats the cheapest to get? Can pair with Ikea blind?

Anybody try something like this?
https://www.lazada.com.my/products/livolo-z...LjW9Nj&search=1
*
If you already have existing blind, this should be the cheaper option.
But, it may not work well with heavy or rough blinds.
