yea same here, my macbook pro is the best and hottest laptop I ever have.
as long it served me, I can ignore the heat.
with mac I can sleep earlier, cause I dont need to wait my laptop (hang) and tweaking it.

@Criptonox89 - Well, what you said is only partly true.

I bring my laptop to uni everyday in my normal bag in a small protector laptop-hugging bag. my laptop was accidentally dropped from 0.7 metre high table twice, and I'm sure when it's in my bag the impact count would be like countless.

Still it's up and running with no problems after 3 years.

since you have been using ibook for 3 years...any idea with its software? what faculty you're studying? normally how long does you switch on your ibook everyday? Some of my freind have the same opinion with me that majority software which suits apple laptop in the market are rare....any idea with this?

Quite rare. I had to order my software from overseas.
Canvas 7 and Melody Assistant.

But there's lots of downloadable Mac stuff on the net
(legal and ilegal).

I never turn off my ibook. Just close the lid and let it hibernate. The startup is instant as long as there is still power by battery.

Well, I'm an electrical & computer systems engineering student, but I do a bit of free lance design work. In terms of designs, I have no complaints. The rendering speed of apple is indisputable. In terms of engineering softwares... I found a replacing program of PSpice for circuit simulation (MacsSpice), and C++ programming software for mac is quite widely available.

Love my MacBook to death

my 667mhz G4 Titanium PowerMoo is still running. Should have a few more years with it still I believe. Just can't play new games but Warcraft3, Dungeon Siege and Neverwinter Nights runs well on it.

My TiBook 1GHz is running very well too.

And since I've kept in a leather sleeve all it's lovely life, it's also free from the scratches and flaking paint that seems to blight this model.

This way, I still get to admire it's two-tone enclosure which has yet to be improved on from an aesthetic response. The TiBook is rather like a beautiful woman. Breathtakingly lovely but high-maintainence....

Old school nerd competition! Mac II SE from 1988 or so ... that still works last time i checked (but that was a few years ago). Also a Powermac Quadra on system 7 that runs.

On a more realistic note, a 2 year old iBook G4 which i use to run my business on a daily basis, very much used, goes with me everywhere on a backpack. Looks pretty good because I don't carelessly abuse it. Hard disk is a bit corrupt though, but nothing a good 'ol reformat won't fix ...

my company still using it's 2001 xServe PowerPC till today, i kinda like using OS X.. but i'm just a poor kid, using OS X inside my HP pavilion PC... i'm saving up to get a new iMac.. waiting for my bonus to come up... wahoo...

Believe it or not I have a 333Mhz Strawberry iMac with 20G HD and 512 RAM bought in 1996 still running 24/7 in the office as a print server. So where is the "cepat rosak" thing coming from?

Actually I DON'T believe it.

Why?

Because the first Bondi Blue iMac was introduced in May 1998.

i've try to put it windows cd to my powerbook g4 17"..... suddenly, the cd wont came out...lol, cant do anything.. then ask my father to remove it, forgot how he remove it lol
