can schnauzers stay in condos? im looking for a toy sized dog that i can sneak in /out for walks. prefereably infrequent barkers. any recommendations?
*
Yes, my MS stay in condo with me for 1 month plus d. She can be very yappy at first but will be fine if you tell her not to do so. She will understand. Also, MS is a good watch dog, she will growl and alert when someone pass by corridor (stranger) but sometimes, she will bark out loud. But thanks god, no one complaint bout me yet, even my neighbour downstairs also said she don't know i have a dog..hahaha.
Anyway, my left and right neighbours are malay though. =_=

One thing about Schnauzers are that they are very intelligent. They somehow understand when you scold them. My MS pup now toilet trained  rclxm9.gif. it does its "business" in the toilet!  thumbup.gif

I'm still got problem on toilet train although she is 7 mths now. Most of the time she pee/poo in the cage only i let her out, so not much big problem. But she will still pee/poo outside and won't go automatically to the cage when doing her business.
I want to toilet train too, but my toilet is WET all the time. Can share your experience how to toilet train?

WET toilet cannot lor.. If you were the dog, would  you prefer a wet or dry place to do your "business"? of course dry right.. Like my pup, he's only three months old but with a lot of patients and training he did it.

How to "toilet" train it.
My pup loved to pee/poo on the small rugs. So we got rid of all the rugs but left one in the toilet. after a few days of him doing it on the rug in the toilet. we got rid of the rug and he continued doing his stuff without realising that the rug was gone already  laugh.gif
*
Good idea.
Now my other question is, how to make her LOVE to pee/poo on the small rugs?OR make her stay?
Whenever I see her going to do business and bring her to dedicated place, she will run away and not going her business anymore. I plan to make her pee/poo on a small tray.

Best is to scold her and show her that she shouldnt do it there. Using a loud voice should scare her a little and she will try to run away. do it everytime she does it in the wrong place. She will eventually go and do her "business" somewhere else. If it still doesnt work. Lock her up in the toilet after her breakfast/lunch/dinner until she does her "business" then let her out.  icon_rolleyes.gif

I tried that before, problem is, her poo time hard to predict, normally after morning meal, she will poo in 2 hrs ++ ( lock her for 2 hrs? ) or less than 1 hrs. See, the range so huge.
Then at evening meal(feed her at 7pm), she wont poo at all till morning OR poo after many many hours, near 11pm something. Is it normal? I can't say lock her whole night in the toilet right?

I also don't know how to make her poo by schedule. Already 1 month plus.

My little devil just 'destroy' a box which we stored Soya Bean drinks during midnight.
Anyhow, she did drink it. But small portion I think. Just want to know is good or bad for dog drink soya bean? AND, any side effect? Because I saw not far away from the 'crime scene' got 2 spots of her yellow bile that she vomitted. I suspect can be due to the paper box she destroyed and eat it, OR the soya bean.

Hello all,
Asking a stupid question here.My MS is a female dog. But later I'm bringing her to my aunt's house to help take care for me as I'm going outstation. However, my aunt's house have 2 male dogs. Will they rape her? sweat.gif Anyway, my dog is not on heat.
Just to clear my doubt. wink.gif

got any websites to see what the jap / taiwan market is selling?
*
I just came back from Taiwan last 2 weeks. Went to some petshops at Shih Lin Night Market ( A lot of petshops). But, frankly, other than they have variety of dog treat and etc. Nothing special. But, collar, cloth, also more variety la. Maybe I need to go larger petshop.
To dog's lover, Taiwan anywhere you can see cute dogs. smile.gif

i have a questions...meeko's bones seems to be very soft and flexible..when she walk the way i see it, no problem...but hard to make her sit as i try to hold her..her whole body like will go soft then just lay flat on the floor...is she just plain lazy? is it normal for a 3 months old MS to have such flexible bones?
*
Yes, it is normal for a 3 months dog. Try to give her more calcium. As long as she can walks, can run, should be fine. Monitor a while till 4-5 mths old. If still like you said, soft and flexible, then better go see vet.

give her more calcium? hmm i believe if the kibbles contains all the nutrition u dun need to give any extra supplements rite?
*
Not all the case. See what contain in your kibbles.
Last time my vet told me, for puppy still under development, is good to have extra calcium. BUT, consult your vet first if you got doubt.
Because, OVER calcium also not good. nod.gif

he oni know how to bring the toy to me...but wont let go 1..sure bite n i need to rampas from him....but sked too hard his teeth gone later...haha
*
Dog's teeth is stronger than what you think. Same as human, teeth is the most hard bone compare to others. Won't so easily gone la...haha.
My dog like to run to the balcony, run back to my room, in in out out for few times for her own exercise.
By the way, MS is a very active breed and need exercise. But indoor exercise should also be sufficient.
