How heavy is XunXun? If she can't reach 5kg as an adult, then she may have problems with her pregnancy later.... But why breed? Is she up to shih tzu standards? Breeding with Jack Jack?

i'm also considering whether to neuter Copper or not, because almost all my pets are neuter except Jade because we want to have a litter of MS since she's a championline breed *giggle*, but not sure about Copper.. prolly will consider for a while..

and anyone knows the detail about Ikano? i mean, i'm planning to bring Copper to go walk around and have fun at Ikano, but one of my friends say not whole Ikano is available for pets.. they say they have the 'Pet Section' and even pet lift! lol so wondering anyone knows about it?

You wanna breed with Prince? Better not.... for he may have some recessive gene that can pass on to the pups... since related to Jack Jack. Breeding dogs take a lot of time and money.... you think you can handle 4 puppies plus your 2 dogs? It will be 6 dogs in 1 house.

Anyway, all this is asked coz concerned. There is no need to keep "legacy" or bloodline if you do not intend to show your dogs. Puppies may be cute but over breeding.... many people do think keeping "legacy" is a must then they go breed once, say will keep all the pups but later on do not want the pups anymore. Also, it Xun Xun will not realise they are her pups when they grow older.... with more males in your house(male pups) then it would be more mess, more dominance, more noise.... how much can you tolerate? Vet bill? Food bill.....

If you want to breed, breed for quality.... don't just breed coz you have 1 female and you want to own her puppies.... I don't feel this is right in a way. Most commercial breeders just breed for money. Commercial are those that go on breeding and breeding, keep saying champion line but if look at the cert, only the great grand parents may have 1 or 2 that are Malaysian champions.... hobbyist breeders and show breeders are so different. They breed for a certain quality, colour and disposition for the show ring. Pet qualities from show breeders are always sold cheaper. Sometimes need to sign contract.

For me, technically I own only 1 dog, which is Chelsea.... if I had more, I do not think I can give her more attention and dogs do have jealousy problems. 3 dogs in the house is quite enough.... if I imagine a litter of puppies, I can imagine the joy at first, all cute and small... but later the havoc and money comes about. When older, more noise and who knows, maybe neighbours will complain.

Keep what you can. If you love Jack Jack and Xun Xun, then just go on pampering and keeping them safe and sound. There is no need to extend and make a family for them. Dogs and most animals do not feel for each other like humans. Our brains and emotions are so much more evolve and we can think with logic. Animals can only think with instinct and experience.

and hor, few days ago, i realise a brown patch at the back, it can be feel by touching, something can be peeled off, it's like when we get hurt and the wound will dry up, and then it'll fall off slowly those kind.

i didnt know where he get it and he didnt seems to hurt himself because he's just staying inside of the house all day long since he came.

i asked jtl about this but she say she didnt know anything about it but the patch was found days after i got him back. certainly not food allergic because he's still having his same food, and he didnt seems to even care about the patch.. anyone knows whats that?

i'm planning to bring him to the vet soon to see whats that though.. hopefully it's not a serious prob, because jtl said the pups arent infected by any skin diseases
