best piece of news actually .. i hope Sterling finds another club with a manager to help him get to the next level. BR is not the manager who can do that.

this season it is so obvious he can't beat his markers at all ... dont say big games... small games also he's nothing. he can't shot, he can't use his pace to create play or even connect with passes properly, with no suarez to pull away players, he's marked out easily. i don't hate him really. i think this is the best way forward if he doesn't want to end up being an almost there like many others before him.

BR really fcuked up big time. We don't build the team based on our strikers strengths heck we don't play our strikers at all, we don't have a leader on the pitch, the pretender runs like a headless chicken and got his big salary increment like wtf ? our new defenders sux ballz, our GK doesn't read the game, his distribution sux, his kicking sux. good stopper but that's it. our bench has expensive useless crap who can't make it into the first team.

This basically sum out our season, well said bro.

Off topic a bit. Barcelona vs Juventus CL final.

Will Suarez shake Negrito's hand this time lol?

Maybe we get to see the climax before the whistle is blown. Yee ha
*
He wont, and he will bite Chiellini again. laugh.gif laugh.gif

Rafa was bashed by the English media partly because the media loves SAF. When Rafa rotates his players, he's tinkering. When SAF does it, he's a brilliant man management.

Rafa might not be the most exciting coach but certainly he knows how to play his players. Unlike BR. Wingers play wingbacks. Midfielders play RB. I'm amazed Mig didn't play striker when Daniel is out injured. Spending so much for Lov is a crime. Lallana might still come good. Baffles me that Borini and Balo don't get more game time. Lambert was a mistake, but the biggest mistake was trying to turn Stevie into a DM.

I think Rafa would have played Stevie in his natural role but manage him properly; play in big games and important games like CL. And speaking of CL, it totally exposed BR as an inexperienced novice trying to act smart. Totally exposed!
*
Seriously, I would have play Gerrard up front than drop deep, I mean if I were forced to play him out of his natural position. At least he's better at offence than defence.

Then i can say all chelsea player win epl because their own effort not mourinho laugh.gif
credit must be given no matter how hard its cause pain to your butt (butthurt)laugh.gif

When liv under rafa era, anfield is a fotress..team will fell the aura when comes to anfield...now c.palace also can come and dancing at anfield...BR totally no idea and tactically naive
*
So now you must give credit to BR for finishing 2nd, for getting Liverpool in UCL, for bringing out the best of Suarez, for creating SaS that will carve its name in the history forever.

For....errr....you add in the rest.. biggrin.gif

Arsenal agrees term with Liverpool target Arturo Vidal.

Another milestone in the growing list of transfer failures by Ian Ayre & Wodgers.

Not surprised though when even 20yrs old teen wouldnt want to play with us. Pathetic. #WodgersOut #AyreOut

Seriously, I am tired of all this, all my favourite player will never come Liverpool, they goes to the rival club all the time.

u guys did have a few success, i never imagined coutinho would join, usually those kinda players will think first choice as spain then italy before bpl
*
Coutinho did come out very successfully, what I mean by my favourite players is all those established, recognised one. Especially German players, first Podolski, then Ozil, next don't know who will join other club in EPL. Most probably Hummels, Reus, and Khedira.

I wonder if the transfer committee talks about it.

Ian Ayre; Hey you know players don't want to play for us anymore?
Dave Fallows: Sabermetrics moneyball 75m pounds for Suarez, we're profitable again, more statistical propaganda jargon
Michael Edwards: plus Joe Allen has the best average passing rate and Lovren is the best defender in the league. We must be doing something right.
BR: I have three envelopes with names of different people in it. I won't tell you who they are.
Ian Ayre: Cool, I'll close my eyes and pick one, if he's English we'll buy him.
BR: They're all English and from Southampton.
Ian Ayre: Buy them all!

Transfer committee adjourned!

Disgracing. Massive respect for those still can endure BR as the manager. You must be a monk in real life if you still have confident with BR.

watch Gerrard last goal, their 2 cb actually stop running and let him score, respect for Stoke defender

I am pretty sure the players is paying some kind of respect or tribute for Gerrard. Although I feel that it is not necessary and quite a humiliation. But well, at least Gerrard scored in his last game, in a 6-1 lost. doh.gif

Interesting days ahead....

It has been proven before in football, that it can take years of patience before we see success, hence, the common sense of giving Brendan more time...

there will be people calling for Brendan's head right now...so that there's time to rebuild...

IF i am FSG, i will dig further the rumours of a manager that will might be sacked soon.  He's the only one besides Bob Paisley that has won the European cup three time.  And yes, he won the Premier League before when he was managing in London.

isn't it illegal to let players score like that?
*
Well its not obvious, and its not like they stop chasing Gerrard. They just doesn't chase and tackle aggressively. Its just like how Walters and Crouch scored against us, a gift.

seems legit then  hmm.gif

Try watching the highlight again, the defender could tackle Gerrard, but he may foul or may not. Since they already win 5-0, he just sort of like play it safe, and might as well pay some respect to Gerrard.

duno about u man ..but with the shit we're going through, no big name players are gonna come unless we get a big name manager who has enough influential power to attract the big name players ...and with Sturridge always getting injured ... we ain't got no strikers at all
*
No offence, this is the mentality of the manager, owner, transfer committee now. The syukur mentality.
Its like they already lose hope of Liverpool, and settle with what ever left.

Brendan Fucking Rodgers certainly implant the thought of build for the future into lots of people. This is why he must go, or else he will come out with all sort of reason saying he cant get his hand on world class player, then splash cash on all nonsense mid table potential player.

QUOTE(cherroy @ May 25 2015, 03:53 PM)
Some players look good in midtable, relegation team, but not on top team level.

Look at Shelvey, look mediocre at Liv, but show glimpse of shine in Swansea.
Same with Lallana, look good at Soton, but mediocre in Liv when want to challenge on top.

EPL proven /= top 4 teams proven.

The pressure and demand level are not the same, which could affect the players.

At midtable team, 12 matches unbeaten run, score a few goals, it is tactical genius for midtable standard manager.
At top level, 12 matches unbeaten run is nothing, as you need 30 matches unbeaten for the entire season.
*
Not to forget the hoo-haa of Mignolet numbers of clean sheet.

A friendly reminder, people should set the target and expectation higher, this is Liverpool in case people forget.
