Great fightback from 2 goals down to secure a 2-2 draw. I thought we're done & dusted after Robben's goal

Mandzukic is the man of the match. He build up those 2 goals and never stop fighting its like we've Chiellini playing as a forward

Noted that its a wrong approach to the game, by letting Bayern do all their stuff..while the only way to neutralize them is by putting em under pressure instead(like we did in the 2nd half)

Great match, too bad these 2 team get pitted on early in the tournament
*
first 30 mins really scary lah. bayern bossing around like no body business. no teams done that to Juve before in J stadium.

Max allegri showed tactical brilliance, bring hernanes to slow down tempo a bit. marchisio could not function well, he could not find any advancing players, probably due to superb pressing.

then he took out dybala for the high ball ccrossing game, when pogba could not finish his chances.

overall good comeback, I think last memorable comeback was against Napoli 4/5 seasons ago. still there is chance at allianze arena. juve need to revert back to 352, let cuadrado / alex sandro work on the flanks.

Inter did not deliver. SerieA need strong teams so Italy could have 4 reps in UCL!

Rugani pretty much overwhelmed by Inter that night. they just concentrate on him until he make mistakes.

too bad all three goals were from his mistakes.

I agree that he is not ready, and need consistent backing up from people around him

Rugani, in my opinion, is the type of 'clean, no-nonsense, too careful' defender, hence why he got ZERO booking with Empoli last season, a rare stat for a defender(heck now even touchline personnel like coach/asst getting booked  laugh.gif  )

he need to up some aggression in his game...but he got 3 great mentor in BBC so i wouldn't worry about him... He can be our next Gaetano Scirea
*
indeed rugani was too careful. eder should had been hacked down before his cross. BBC will take down opponent anytime, even lead to yellow.

it was boring match, only boriello tried hard to score.
others atalanta players just want to hack down juve players. pogba loose his head as well. i think he should be rested before the bayern showdown. only marchisio played well, beside the defenders tongue.gif

lemina's goal was fun to watch. hope he gets more playing time and prove his worth

Bonucci error was lesser lately. He is matured now compared to 4 years ago. Among best CB now.

just love the build up for 1st goal. win or draw next game means scudetto already.

btw, free numbering/name for home jersey at juvestore!

our 26-unbeaten streak came to an end..and whose better to end it than the legendary Luca Toni notworthy.gif

but one thing for certain, our MF looks poor without the likes of Pogba,Khedira,Marchisio. The likes of Zaza, Pereyra, Asamoah are good players
but they're certainly not world class level. Perhaps Marotta could clear some room for some smart buy next season

*
Sturaro, Padoin, Zaza, Pereyra, Asamoah are above average players. they still need world class plays around them. They are good when their surroundings are right. Last night, all was wrong, especially since the green Lemina is dictating.

Zaza was wasteful and not clinical enough. I think we can get another goal or two if it was Mandzukic or Morata plays.

No contract extension for Evra?
*
seems evra is extending, just pending official anouncement.
many are eagerly waiting for Morata and Cuadrado, who supplied copa winning goal.
looks like both will not be around next year

well, knowing us, we would be linked with the whole Europe with the names of Ibrahimovic, Cavani, Isco to the average italian players to some unknown players

losing both Morata & Cuadrado means we will lost the edge in speed, which is one of the most important attribute in European matches. In Serie A we can go slow & steady
but when it comes to UCL, almost every major teams rely on their pacy player
*
looking at the current activity it's still 'wait and see' from the management for Morata and Cuadrado, so there is still very slim hope.
Juve used to have at least one or two Italy strikers, but seems no Italian last year was up to the task. I was hoping Zaza could overcome Mandzukic at least, but that seems not the case. He was too inconsistent. He could be really good sometimes, and later totally missing, just like Pobga during first 10 week tongue.gif

It's bad that team like Juve need to look into foreign strikers. looks like this years Euro is not Italy's year.

i don't know the reason about the duo from Barca wanting of join Juve, but considering the likes of Caceres, Isla & probably Cuadrado wouldn't be here next season...reinforcement on the
right wouldn't hurt

as for Mascherano, probably he want to play at his favorite CDM position as he rarely get that opportunity at Barca..so joining Juve looks like a logical choice for him.
*
Mascherano can play as midfield anchor while marchisio is nursing injury. i would say he is excellent coup if materialized.

QUOTE(Deani_77 @ May 26 2016, 04:39 PM)
I remember read somewhere, Barca also keeping eye on Dybala... Dybala already express his eagerness to play along side Messi... Hoping he will quit for Barca next season
*
probably another 2 years + 80-90mil smile.gif

Pjanic more of backup for Marchisio, but very good backup. It's possible Marchisio need to fight for 1st eleven again like when Pogba was around.

Many are looking at Pogba to be sold, I don't think that is the case. Unless crazy offer arrived

He is starting 11 / top class material and adds depth to the midfield. Hardly a backup player. Our MC backups are: Lemina, Sturaro, Hernanes, Asamoah, Pererya

With him around, we can play a diamond formation with a back 4:

GK - Buffon
DL - Alex Sandro / Evra
DC - Bonucci
DC - Chiellini
DR - Dani Alves / Lict
DMC - Marchisio
MCL - Pogba
MCR - Khedira
AMC - Pjanic
SS - Dybala
FC - Mandzukic / New Striker

Cant wait for this line up  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif
*
Good line up but the ageing defence is worrying. Remember we are just 30 seconds from beating Bayern this year, but the team ran out of steam.
Chiellini may play lesser and pass baton to Rugani. Right back I was hoping for Vrsaljko of Sasuolo. Pat Evra, Alves & Lict are all in 30s, can play and kill especially during CL first leg, then younger player during return leg and defend the lead.

Understood Dani Alves is a beast, but he is 33. Maybe he will be like uncle Evra. Still have 2-3 good years.

We badly need another center back, hopefully Benatia is materialized

Morata and Tevez was good because they can run into defenders. They are good goal poachers too. Alexis may be OK, but I prefer Italian up front. No one in particular now.

With Mehdi in the roster, I believe the defenders line up is complete.
Now eagerly waiting who will lead the attacking line (Gabigol?), or just let the Midfielders do the damage, with Pogba, Pjanic, Dybala all capable of getting the goals.

Cuadrado future not yet clear... seems he is staying?

Based on the rumors the fees are just too huge, I would rather we go for someone else lol

Still can happen. But for 29 year old striker still too expensive. But he is proven good though.
