this is true, the likes of Inter, Roma, Lazio, Napoli, Fiorentina would definitely chose to sold their player to anyone but Juve

even if they did the price would be ridiculous, exp; Felipe Melo

only Milan out of those clubs have some kind of "quite good" relation in transfer market with Juve. Yeah, the war of words between both sets of fans
might still be going on but Juve-Milan always have a mutual respect with each other, even on transfer market.

Other than that, i think only the likes of Sassuolo, Udinese & Atalanta were having a good business partnership with Juve
*
it's quite normal for top teams not to strengthen Juve. Just like when they rather cheer for RM in UCL final. hence most of purchases are at release clause if from serie A.
only on some freak circumstances or wrong judgement, they will let go for free or nomimal fee, Cannavaro, Pirlo, latest one Bonucci.

i remember once Milan loaned their keeper Abbiati as Buffon was injured during a friendly with Milan.

what a match. Should've buried it by 4-0 atleast in the first half

but Coppa semis here we come

on a side note. Sturaro is never Juve quality type of player at first place, that's quite harsh but honestly i don't think he's good enough
to be likes Padoin/Simone Pepe kind of player either. And seeing that we're so close to sign Emre Can, Stefano would probably be the first to head out
*
I believed juve held on to sturaro due to his young age, hoping that he could grow further or developed into some other role as he aged on, however that seems not the case. I agree he should be the first one out, probably try his trade in low/middle team.

btw marco pjaca is being loaned out to schalke04, hopefully he can develop more there

I'm still not sure what should I expect from Can. He tends to disappear in games. Marotta loves freebies so I think he will join us in the summer if pre-agreement contract will be signed.

It's kinda tradition for us to start slow every season. I still think the League title is for us to lose. Napoli and Roma is good but they're also inconsistent being Roma has a better depth in their bench. Who else? Merda? They almost lost to a 3rd tier team. The environment there is too toxicated so it's kinda expected for the meltdown after a perfect start
*
I think it's quite obvious now it's 2 horse race between Juve & Napoli. Napoli really want SerieA title that they dropped European football & Coppa. They don't have depth, so if one/two core players injured they will suffer. Still they have like 30-40% chance winning.

Roma I think played smartly. They realized there is a lot of money in UCL, even when they just make to final 8. I think they could beat shaktar and go to final 8.

Juve chances of doing double again is 70-80%. VS spurs will be very critical and I really hope juve do not repeat the same mistake vs Bayern. It always should be fino alla fine !!!

I think there is no point for him to move either, he might just injured elsewhere biggrin.gif
Marchisio should just stay and do his best when called. He should be prepared for big games, as he is probably the only midfielder who can cope in big games.

Cracking match indeed, that's why I'm thinking is I should wake up for it. I know it should be a no-brainer as a fan, but at this age...other things like rest and sleep are priorities too hehe.

sleep around 9pm and you'll feel fresh at 3.30 biggrin.gif

I think perhaps the 2 goal lead suddenly give Spurs the freedom and urge to play high in Juve area. 2 goals down, what there's nothing to loose, just play as high as possible.

somehow juve's midfielders are exposed, with almost no midfield really going after the ball and just soaking the pressure. soaking the pressure was only good for one occasion, that was leading to the 2nd penalty. otherwise juve looks 2nd best in every department.

juve passing stats was horrible, it's like 400 spurs vs 100 juve, and most of spurs pass are being done in Juve area!

I think max need to switch to 3-5-1-2 on 2nd leg. the game is to win in midfield and don't let spurs control the ball, otherwise it will be end of UCL journey this year

a narrow & hard fought win.

and what does Buffon thinking charging out halfway to the pitch...kinda like he did vs Spurs. If Gomez shot had gone in we could've witness a pretty different tie or probably extra time involved
*
yeah the lob was real scary. you might not notice that is buffon natural position when juve is attacking. if you watch this match in the stadium you will notice it.
vs spurs he tried to charge for 1-1 but he lost to kane, no shame there.

anyway it's a good game. atalanta played good football. they should be at least in europa next season. but we have own some of their best players so they might suffer next year

last gasp goal by the jewel and nepali lost 2-4 ... couldn't be sweeter.

I'm not sure if lazio have good squad or juve played really bad in the middle of the park. but if 3-5-2 vs spurs we may have fighting chance.

I was under impression Juve will be lauk/bash again when Max fielded 4-3-3 with Barzagli on the right-back. That's suicidal. Son/Eriksen/Alli will breeze past him easily.

Boy I was very very wrong. Barzagli expertly marshalled his area, doing last distch tackles, clearing balls off the line and litterally throwing himself to block shots. It was his form (plus Chiellini) that Max was confident to withdraw Benatia & Matuidi, and send on more attacking Linchteiner/Asamoah.

So, today old guards BBC triumphant, might be their last season. Future UCL games this season are not to be missed.

Max also mock Spurs when he send in Sturaro. Conte/Lippi would send in Rugani to secure the result. But he might give Juve 3rd goal, unfortunately Sturaro sent in weak shot when no Spurs players bother to mark him biggrin.gif
