Intel e6600 week, overclocking diff

Just got a Core2Duo E6600 with L640F024 batch from remysix.
Right now running at 450X8 @ 1.48Vcore. Priming now. The processor is good, but i can't seem to get a good subtiming for my Ballistix PC6400.  Still waiting for my Tracer PC8500 to arrive though.  I hate Vista when benchmarking. XP is better in bechmarking.  But in application running & eyecandy, vista is the best.  Hmm... Should i revert back to XP or what?
