I've got myself L629F125 batch. Runs at 3.37Ghz (375 x 9) without any issues. Increased to 3.43Ghz and Orthos fails to run pass 5 minutes. The odd thing is I set the vcore to Auto, but the monitoring apps seems to give different readings....

QUOTE(raist86 @ May 28 2007, 05:46 PM) running my proc now at 3.4Ghz - 375x9 @raist86,corsair value ram @ 750Mhz to get 1:1 ratio.. tried stressing it with orthos and it fails at the after 50 mins.. voltage set at 1.4v and ram at 2.2v.. you might want to increase the vcore. im running 375x9 as well. left the ram at 400mhz 1T. vcore set to 1.45v and vdroop to 1.42v. Orthos overnite w/o errors. will try 385x9 tonite |

what abt the "power options" in control panel? i read it somewhere that sometimes it will mess with the multiplier; even it's been disabled in bios.
give it a shot; set the "power option" to "home/office desk" gud lark |

yea, 3.37 stable. anything above it will either experience lockup, orthos fail, or cant boot OS at all.
could it be ram timing too tight? or perhaps i was too stingy in providing vcore? This post has been edited by VT-Ten: Jun 15 2007, 12:07 AM |
