I've got myself L629F125 batch. Runs at 3.37Ghz (375 x 9) without any issues. Increased to 3.43Ghz and Orthos fails to run pass 5 minutes. The odd thing is I set the vcore to Auto, but the monitoring apps seems to give different readings....

CPU-Z vcore: 1.264v
CoreTemp vcore: 1.325v
Asus Probe vcore: 1.420v

Dont know which one to trust?

dude, you've got an imported model. in general, imported products are better than local made. lol.

you might want to increase the vcore.
im running 375x9 as well. left the ram at 400mhz 1T.
vcore set to 1.45v and vdroop to 1.42v. Orthos overnite w/o errors.
will try 385x9 tonite

is it because you enabled speedstep?

what abt the "power options" in control panel? i read it somewhere that sometimes it will mess with the multiplier; even it's been disabled in bios.

give it a shot; set the "power option" to "home/office desk"

yea, 3.37 stable. anything above it will either experience lockup, orthos fail, or cant boot OS at all.

could it be ram timing too tight? or perhaps i was too stingy in providing vcore?
