I'm facing the same problem for my E6300, it show me 266 x 6 in the CPUZ, default should be 266 x 7.
Mobo i'm using is Biostar Tforce 965PT, can tell me what i should i disable/enable in the bios setting so that it can go back to normal?

@RokXIII+CKC_1

do u adjust the power option? don't use mobile profile. just use default performance profile.

even though i'm on AMD, this fix my problem. i disabled Cool N Quite, my multiplier still jumping up and down.

i didn't make any changes in power option, so i don't think it is the problem, but thanks for helping too. smile.gif
