I was considering of buying a legit version of Minecraft. Right now, I'm just trying out the illegal copy to try the game,

and I think it was fun, but sadly there was only a few servers from Malaysia that I could play in, so I tried overseas

servers, I guess it was from US/Canada I am not really sure, it was really fun, the mods and stuff, although it was a

bit spiky. My question is, assume that I bought a legit version of Minecraft, and I still wanted to connect to overseas

server since there are only a few Malaysia servers, will it still lags by having a legit copy? Not to confuse you guys,

what I mean is only pirated copy of Minecraft will cause lag? Or legit version too? I know I'm asking a stupid question

right here, please bear with me guys. I'm not a big computer geek. Kindly help me out.

I don't know what logic is that tho. Now I understood, so is there any way to change it in order to blend with the US

server latency?
