AVG does the job fine for me, it's free too which is always great.

I did use Kaspersky before, but I found it to be more resource hungry.
Most annoyingly, it left ADS tags on a majority of the files on my HDD which is stupid.

I would strongly suggest that u read around in the forum for those information...

like 1 of the forumer mentioned, the more important is ur knowledge of this security issues, instead of getting a "best" tool

a tool can be good only if u know how to use it, else, it's just another junk tongue.gif

I am using kaspersky internet security now and i am getting fedup setting up the firewall in kaspersky. It even find it hard to port forward my utorrent but i can port forward easily with bitcomet, weird. Also, kaspersky like to scan my drive while i was doing something which will cause computer to be slow. sad.gif

from my own experience, I would recommend ppl to use separate products instead of those security suites...

I have tried with symantec, kaspersky and zone alarm internet suites, all giving me a nightmare of making my pc slow/hang... sweat.gif

if u have $$$, u should try trend micro antivirus, uses very little resources & it's very effective on defending ur computer from spyware, grayware, adware & lethal viruses...

if u want free software, i suggest AVG, it's good...

Combination issue again. Kaspersky-ZA or AVG-ZA combos are fine. Kaspersky-NOD32-Avast-ZA combos are fine too. I've tested them. Use with no worries.

ZA is one program that takes quite an amount of Memory. Kaspersky takes even more. What do you expect? Surely they will consume quite an amount of memory. I believe you can tweak Kaspersky to reduce RAM consumption. Cheers.
