Let me ask you guys something. You think TMnut will UNTHROTTLE P2P once they 'acquire' more bandwidth? I don't think so. They just spent RM70,000+ (that's just an estimation, could be more) to BUY the throttling device. Are they going to use it for 2-3 months then switch it off after they have bought more bandwidth? Hmm.. I don't think so. Throttling of P2P could be permanent.
That's the reality folks..

QUOTE(yangxi @ Oct 17 2006, 06:25 PM) U check the annual report for TELEKOM. Their earn more than billion.!! Are you saying because they earn BILLIONS that RM70,000 is nothing to them? So they can use for 2-3 months then the thing collect dust? I don't think so. If they have BILLIONS then why they didn't just BUY more bandwidth immediately? I'm just saying this just to remind you all not to keep your hopes up on getting P2P unthrottled by end of the year. I seriously doubt they going to do it. I'm a heavy BT users and I am pissed that TMnut did this to us. So I'm going to have to look for alternative (which I don't see one) or spend a little bit more money to circumvent the throttling. But I would be happy to be proven wrong at the end of the year if they decide to junk the throttle device and give us full bandwidth again. This post has been edited by Exarkun: Oct 17 2006, 06:34 PM
