So did any of you find that Windows 10 UI pretty?? Not for me if the final layout would not much change from the TP...

Already revert back to 8.1 update 2 due to overheat and lag.

After install I do factory reset because facebook cannot restore and

can't install.

Most problematic thing is photo apps album view not available.

The TP simply not impressive at all, if the intention of the TP is to promote the goodness of Windows 10 then I can said it's a total failure...

Just wonder what all their designer doing all these time...

Now OK, using 8.1 update 2.

I think I have fat battery now cause sudden 100% charged in 20minutes and sudden battery drain.

If use win10 more worse. Now waiting new battery from Ebay.

Will try back win10 when got new update to resolve heating problem.

I think lot of L1520 user facing over heat when using w10.

TP is not for customer ...TP is for developer

everything is not final yet ...


until they release "customer" preview then only it consider final design of the UI

but based on current trend ..i believe that UI design for windows 10 should be close to final

i think 1 to 1 and half month they will release CP

Just got everyone information, if you want the 8.1 GDR Update 2, go to Windows insider enable the fast ring then go and check for Phone Update then you will get it... Afterward disable the auto download so you won't be force to update to Windows 10 TP... for me I'll stop after the GDR2 until the official Windows 10 stable release as can see the GDR2 seem like the final golden touch from Nokia legacy where it's still very usable and rock solid stable rather then the TP joker... LOL

Technical Preview is not meant to promote goodness of Windows 10, please please do not get this wrong. At this stage it's solely meant for testing/feedback. Nothing is final expecially UI wise, besides they are not focusing on UI also now.

As I've mentioned before doing this will put your phone on waiting to update to Windows 10 TP, with no way of cancelling it or getting any other official updates later. Only way out is hard reset.

Anyway WP8.1 GDR2 is confirmed will be installed as staging update before W10 TP.

LOL... do you really thinking there's anymore delicious update if it's not the official Windows 10? then do you think the 8.1 to 10 really will going smooth without any hard reset? the GDR 2 is beautiful and can be said it completed the WP8.1 overall performance and reliability...

Dude, you don't get it, if u do that u won't even get the official Windows 10 update down the road. This is something u need to inform normal ppl before u tell them to update this way, else later they complain what are u going to tell them?

Yes WP8.1 GDR2 is probably the best & most polish one but this is not the official way of getting it. I've seen way too many ppl who jump into W10 TP without realizing the consequences, only to complain so much now. So I always warn ppl now what happens if u choose that way.

By the way, I'm enjoying WP8.1 GDR2 on my Lumia 535, can finally connect BT keyboards to type with that
